  • Homers in win
Keith went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 8-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Keith continued his breakout July, tallying his sixth home run of the month on a solo blast in the ninth inning. Since July 3, he has seen his season average rise from .229 to .251 with 10 homers, 38 RBI, 38 runs scored and five steals across 330 plate appearances. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago

  • Homers again in win
Malloy went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Monday's 8-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Malloy opened the scoring with a two-run home run off Carlos Carrasco in the first inning. The rookie has now homered on back-to-back days and has seven long balls in 123 plate appearances this year. He also struck out three times to bring his season total to 42 but has still managed an impressive .279/.380/.605 slash in July. Rotowire.com 36 minutes ago
  • Nolan Gorman rips solo homer in loss to Pirates
Nolan Gorman crushed a solo homer on Monday in the Cardinals’ loss to the Pirates.

Advice: Gorman supplied St. Louis’ lone run during a low-scoring affair at PNC Park by walloping a fifth-inning solo shot just inside the right-field foul pole off Pirates starter Mitch Keller. It was his 19th round-tripper of the season and lone hit in four at-bats. The 24-year-old slugging second baseman boasts a lackluster .206 batting average this season, but the fact that he’s probably going to wind up eclipsing the 30-homer threshold makes him a mixed-league relevant fantasy contributor, even if he’s merely a power plus counting stats source. • Moncada (adductor) pulled off rehab assignment
Yoán Moncada’s rehab assignment has been halted because of “some anticipated soreness,” manager Pedro Grifol said.

Advice: Moncada, out since April with an adductor strain, was 8-for-15 in five games in Rookie ball before being shut down. It’s not currently expected to be a long pause for the third baseman. Rotoworld Today, 6:33 pm
  • Justyn-Henry Malloy homers in blowout victory
Justyn-Henry Malloy belted a two-run homer on Monday, leading the Tigers to an 8-2 victory over the Guardians.

Advice: Malloy’s first-inning blast off veteran right-hander Carlos Carrasco set the tone early for Detroit’s eventual eight-run explosion in an eventual one-sided blowout. It was his seventh big fly of the season and fifth time he’s gone deep in his last 15 contests. The 24-year-old rookie slugger definitely struggled upon arrival in the big leagues, but is clearly starting to get more comfortable at the dish based on his recent results, batting .306 (15-for-49) over those last 15 games. • Luis Rengifo (wrist) might return Tuesday
Luis Rengifo, out since July 4 with wrist inflammation, might come off the injured list prior to Tuesday’s game.

Advice: With Anthony Rendon back at third. Rengifo figures to see most of his playing time at second after returning. That could put Brandon Drury on the bench against a fair number of righties. Keston Hiura’s roster spot is likely in danger. Rotoworld Today, 4:55 pm

  • Nearing activation
Rengifo (wrist) said Monday that he is doing "everything" and could be activated as soon as Tuesday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Rengifo resumed baseball activities Friday after being placed on the 10-day injured list July 5 with right wrist inflammation and he now appears to be on the cusp of returning to the lineup. The Angels will launch a three-game series on the road in Seattle on Monday night and it's possible he is activated from the IL prior to the end of the series. Rotowire.com Today, 4:39 pm

  • Pulled off rehab due to soreness
Moncada (adductor) has been pulled off his rehab assignment due to soreness, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Advice: White Sox manager Pedro Grifol referred to the soreness as "anticipated" and added that "there's nothing where we feel he's taken a step back." Moncada will be re-evaluated before it's determined when he might be ready to be sent out for games again. Out since early April with an adductor strain, Moncada had gone 8-for-15 with one double in five rehab contests with the White Sox' Arizona Complex League affiliate. Rotowire.com Today, 4:01 pm
