    Tim Anderson is on the bench for the second time in four days Wednesday against the Royals.

    Advice: The Marlins have treated Anderson as an everyday player throughout his struggles, but it looks like that might be changing now. Before being excluded from Sunday’s lineup, he had sat just three times this year, not including his IL stint and his three days of bereavement leave. Anderson actually heated up some a couple of weeks ago, but it was all singles; in 10 games from June 11-21, he hit an amazing .405/.405/.405.     Mauricio Dubón is absent from the Astros lineup Wednesday for the first time since June 7.

    Advice: Dubón is a fantastic utilityman, but an everyday first baseman or left fielder he’s not and that’s rather how the Astros have been treating him lately. He’s hit .250/.276/.361 in 77 plate appearances this month, and it’d be for the best if he plays less once Kyle Tucker rejoins the Houston outfield.     Arcia (head) is out of the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Cardinals.

    Advice: Before Tuesday's game was rained out, Atlanta manager Brian Snitker disclosed that Arcia still wasn't feeling well after exiting Monday's 4-3 loss due to dizziness. Snitker didn't entirely rule Arcia out for both games of the twin bill, but it wouldn't be surprising if Atlanta opted to give the veteran shortstop the full day off to recover.     Lopez went 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Royals.

    Advice: The 25-year-old infielder ripped a one-out double in the seventh inning and came around to score the Marlins' first run of the night in a 2-1 victory. Lopez has slowed down at the plate in June, slashing .203/.224/.250 with three doubles, two steals, four RBI and five runs in 18 games, but he continues to hold down the starting job at second base.   • Could miss multiple days
    Arcia (head) got checked out at a local hospital Tuesday after continuing to feel unwell Monday night, and while tests came back negative, the shortstop could be sidelined for multiple days, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. "We'll probably give him two or three days," manager Brian Snitker said prior to Tuesday's game in St. Louis being rained out.

    Advice: Arcia left Monday's 4-3 loss to St. Louis due to dizziness that was initially attributed to dehydration, although no official diagnosis has been announced. Atlanta is set to play a doubleheader Wednesday against the Cardinals following the rainout, but Arcia could end up sitting for the entire twin bill if he's still not feeling 100 percent.     Gio Urshela is out of the Tigers lineup Wednesday for the first time since June 15.

    Advice: Urshela, who is hitting .253/.292/.322 on the season, didn’t seem likely to play quite this much when he came off the IL last month, but injuries to Kerry Carpenter and Javier Báez have eliminated any real need to get Matt Vierling and Andy Ibáñez playing time at third.
