• Out of Houston lineup
Dubon is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Toronto.

Advice: Dubon has been an everyday player over the last few weeks while seeing action at multiple positions, but he will begin this one on the bench. Yordan Alvarez and Joey Loperfido will occupy the corner outfield spots and Jon Singleton will handle first base. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:10 pm

  • Out of Boston lineup
Hamilton is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game in Miami.

Advice: Hamilton has started to cool off at the plate a bit with just two hits in his last 18 at-bats. As a result, he's seen his playing time squeezed, as this is the third time he's been on the bench over the Red Sox' last five contests. Enmanuel Valdez and Ceddanne Rafaela will form the middle-infield combo for Boston on Tuesday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:34 pm

  • Absent from lineup
Arcia is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Arcia missed two games last week due to dizziness before returning to play the last four contests. He hasn't suffered any known setback, so this would appear to be a routine day of rest. Zack Short will fill in at shortstop. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 12:12 pm

  • Orlando Arcia out of lineup Tuesday vs. Giants
Orlando Arcia is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s tilt against the Giants.

Advice: Arcia is on the bench with Zack Short playing shortstop for Atlanta. It could be a day of rest for the 29-year-old, but it’s worth pointing out that he missed time while dealing with an illness last week. There’ll be an injury update if necessary, but for now Arcia shouldn’t be in lineups for Tuesday’s contest. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:07 pm

  • Jeremy Peña snaps homerless drought
After being stuck on five for six weeks, Jeremy Peña finally hit his sixth homer Monday in the win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Peña seems to have things turned around now after a month-long slump; he’s 9-for-29 with five extra-base hits, eight RBI and a 2/4 K/BB in his last eight games. Rotoworld Monday, 3:15 pm

  • Knocks three-run blast
Neto went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's loss to Detroit.

Advice: Neto's home run was part of the Angels' five-run ninth inning, but the comeback attempt fell just short. It was his 11th long ball of the year and snapped a 10-game homerless drought. Neto posted a .780 OPS in June, bumping his season slash line to .249/.301/.437 with 30 extra-base hits and 38 RBI through 300 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:32 am

  • Fills in at shortstop
Smith started at shortstop and went 2-for-5 with an RBI in Sunday's 11-2 win over Baltimore.

Advice: Smith got the start at shortstop with Corey Seager (wrist) day-to-day. Seager was hit by a pitch during Saturday's game and, although X-rays came back negative, took a seat for the series finale against the Orioles. The Rangers are off Monday, giving Seager another 24 hours of healing, before a three-game set against the Padres. Once Seager is deemed healthy enough to return to shortstop, Smith will head back to third base, where he will continue to fill in for the injured Josh Jung (wrist), who may be back in the lineup soon, though the team is still evaluating him. • Three-hit effort in win
Witt went 3-for-4 with a triple, one RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Guardians.

Advice: Witt had gone 10 games without a multi-hit effort before Sunday's performance. The shortstop closed the month 33-for-108 (.306) with 12 extra-base hits, 12 RBI, 14 runs scored and six stolen bases over 27 contests. Through 86 games this year, Witt is slashing .312/.363/.534 with 12 home runs, 22 stolen bases, 54 RBI, 65 runs, 22 doubles and nine triples. He's made modest gains in plate discipline with a 7.3 percent walk rate (up from 5.9 percent last year) and 16.7 percent strikeout rate (down from 17.4 percent) to sustain his elite production. • Zach Neto demolishes three-run homer in loss
Zach Neto crushed a three-run homer on Sunday in the Angels’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Neto kick-started a ninth-inning rally for the Angels on Sunday afternoon that came up just short as they nearly erased a six-run deficit with five runs in the final frame. Neto played a pivotal role in the comeback with a 414-foot moonshot -- his 11th big fly of the season -- off Tigers reliever Shelby Miller. The 23-year-old former top prospect is quietly putting together an impressive full-season debut with a .738 OPS to go along with 11 homers and 11 steals in 300 plate appearances over 81 games.
