    Adell went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run and a stolen base in Saturday's loss to Oakland.

    Advice: Though the Angels have been thumped in two straight games coming out of the break, Adell has been a bright spot, going 3-for-6 with a pair of thefts and a pair of walks. While he's still hitting just .197 on the campaign, the outfielder has put together a five-game hitting streak during which he's batting an even .500 (7-for-14) with a homer, six RBI and four free passes.     Advice: Carroll’s home run was his sixth of the season. He belted a two-run shot off Kyle Hendricks in the fifth inning. Carroll is 7-for-31 (.225) with a double, four home runs and 12 RBI in his last nine games. He hit 25 home runs last year and seems to be tapping into his power more as of late.     Bryan Reynolds went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run scored against the Phillies on Saturday.

    Advice: Reynolds has been one of the hottest hitters in baseball since the start of June. He had one game without a base hit in all of June.     Advice: Adell is up to 11 steals on the year, including two over 13 games in July. He's hitting a mild .225 (9-for-40) this month, though that is an improvement on his .192 batting average for the season. The outfielder has added a .657 OPS, 15 home runs, 44 RBI, 36 runs scored, eight doubles and one triple over 294 plate appearances. While no move is imminent, Adell could lose playing time once Mike Trout (knee) is activated from the injured list, which is projected to happen in late July or early August.     Rengifo (wrist) began throwing, fielding groundballs and hitting off a tee Friday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

    Advice: Rengifo landed on the injured list July 5 due to right wrist inflammation, and the increased activity is a good indication that he'll be back in action soon.
