• New career high in steals
Steer went 0-for-4 with a stolen base in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Rays.

Advice: Steer stole a base in the sixth inning but was stranded there. The theft was his 16th, a new career high. He was not a big threat to steal in the minors, but that has changed since becoming a full-timer in the majors last season (15 of 18). Steer, who has 15 home runs, is threatening to post his first 20-20 season. Rotowire.com 14 minutes ago

  • Hammers 22nd homer
Raleigh went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Advice: After snapping a nine-game homerless skid Saturday, Raleigh belted a two-run shot in the first inning Sunday. It was his 22nd of the year and 8th in 22 appearances this month. Raleigh later knocked an RBI single in the fourth inning. He's hitting .259 (21-for-81) in July, raising his season slash line to .216/.302/.434 with 32 extra-base hits and 66 RBI through 101 games. • Yields four runs
Ragans (7-7) allowed four runs on eight hits and a walk over 5.2 innings Sunday, striking out seven and taking a loss against the Cubs.

Advice: Ragans gave up a pair of runs in the third inning followed by two more in the sixth. He took his first loss since June 29 and broke a three-game streak of quality starts. However, he forced 17 whiffs Sunday, including 11 with his changeup. Ragans is sporting a 3.37 ERA with a 153:41 K:BB through 22 starts this season. His next outing is expected to be in Detroit. • Earns win with seven strong innings
Berrios (9-8) earned the win Sunday, allowing one run on six hits over seven innings against the Blue Jays. He struck out five.

Advice: Berrios managed to keep the Rangers off the board aside from an RBI single by Nathaniel Lowe in the sixth. It was just the second time since the end of May that Berrios completed seven frames, and it was the first time during that span that the veteran righty allowed as few as one run. He had particularly struggled over his last eight starts prior to Sunday, carrying a 6.44 ERA and 1.41 WHIP with a 3.7 BB/9 over 43.1 innings during that stretch. Additionally, Berrios managed to not walk a batter after delivering 10 free passes in 8.2 innings over his past two starts. Berrios will look to build upon this effort, though it won't get any easier in his next start as he's currently scheduled to take on the Yankees in the Bronx. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:26 pm
  • Berrios rock solid in win over Rangers
José Berrios allowed one run on six hits in seven innings in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Advice: He also struck out five and walked none. It was a much-needed strong start for the veteran who came into today with a 7.78 ERA over 19 2/3 innings in July with a 16:13 K:BB ratio and a .282 batting average allowed. Overall, it’s been a step back for Berrios this season after seemingly getting back on track last year. He remains a streamer in most league types and is actually a risky start against the Yankees next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:38 pm
  • Oneil Cruz goes deep again as Pirates top D’Backs
O’Neil Cruz swatted his 17th home run of the season on Sunday afternoon, helping to power the Pirates to an extra-inning victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The 25-year-old slugger committed some lefty-on-lefty crime for this one, clobbering a 408-foot (109.2-mph EV) solo shot off of Joe Mantiply in the sixth inning to get the Pirates on the board and pull them to within a run at 2-1. Cruz was also walked intentionally in the 10th inning and scored on a two-run single off the bat of Ke’Bryan Hayes. He finished the afternoon 1-for-3 plus a walk and is now hitting .253/.306/.469 with 17 homers, 53 RBI and nine stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:09 pm

  • Devin Williams protects four-run lead in debut
Devin Williams pitched a scoreless ninth with a four-run lead Sunday against the Marlins in his second debut.

Advice: Williams demonstrated excellent velocity today, as he also did in his rehab outings, but he was a little wild and was forced to throw 24 pitches. As a result, he’ll probably get Monday off. Most of Trevor Megill’s fantasy value is gone with Williams back, but he could wind up with a save tomorrow. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:59 pm
  • Set to be activated Monday
Stanton (hamstring) remains on track to be activated from the 10-day injured list Monday, Gary Phillips of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Stanton has missed a month of action while recovering from a left hamstring strain, but he appears to be set to make his return to the major-league roster Monday in Philadelphia. The 34-year-old will skip a rehab assignment, and he'll attempt to pick up where he left off with the Yankees, having produced a 10-game hitting streak prior to going down with the injury. • Cole Ragans hit hard by Cubs
Cole Ragans surrendered eight hits and four earned runs in 5 2/3 innings on Sunday against the Cubs. He struck out seven and walked one in defeat.

Advice: Ragans did not have his best stuff in this one. He still struck plenty of batters out and forced 17 swings-and-misses, but his fastball and slider each allowed more damage than we’re used to seeing. Even more worrisome, his velocity still has not bounced back to where it was before July. This was his fourth start out of five where his fastball did not average 95 MPH. He only had one such start all season before June 29th. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:21 pm
