    • Snell (groin) likely to start Tuesday vs. Blue Jays
Blake Snell (groin) is likely to start Tuesday against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Snell will come off the injured list Tuesday after missing over a month with his groin strain. The southpaw was sensational in his last rehab start with five scoreless innings and nine strikeouts, and while he has struggled in his six starts with the Giants thus far with a 9.64 ERA, the 31-year-old’s pedigree and success in the second halves of season are obviously worth considering. • Tallies three hits, RBI
Kim went 3-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's loss to Arizona.

Advice: Kim opened the bottom of the fifth with a leadoff double and eventually advanced to third before being left stranded. However, he came right back with hits in each of his next two trips to the plate, driving home Donovan Solano with a double in the eighth to tie the game at 4-4. It marked Kim's second three-hit performance this season and his 13th multi-hit game overall. The second baseman has now hit safely in 11 of his last 14 games, though he's still batting just .222 (4-for-18) through five games in July. Rotowire.com Today, 7:55 am

    • Fans six in quality start
Waldron did not factor into the decision in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits and two walks over six innings while striking out six.

Advice: Waldron allowed Arizona's first run in the second after surrendering a leadoff single to open the frame, along with two walks and a second single - the latter three all coming with two outs. He would then surrender a leadoff homer to Lourdes Gurriel in the fourth and was later charged with a third run after being relieved by Yuki Matsui in the seventh. Waldron has now logged quality starts in seven of his last eight outings, though he's allowed multiple runs in three straight. The right-hander has also issued multiple free passes in five of his last six starts. Rotowire.com Today, 7:33 am
    • Three hits in Saturday's win
Nimmo went 3-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Pirates.

Advice: The multi-hit performance was his third in his last six games, while Nimmo is 8-for-8 in stolen base attempts through 82 contests -- his career high is nine steals, set back in 2018. The 31-year-old has found his groove at the plate, and since the beginning of June he's slashing .312/.400/.560 through 125 plate appearances with six homers, four steals, 23 RBI and 26 runs. • Carries offense in loss
Diaz went 3-for-3 with a walk, a double and a three-run home run in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: His seventh-inning shot off Jacob Latz gave the Rays a brief lead, but the bullpen immediately squandered it in the bottom of the frame. Four of Diaz's eight homers on the season have come in his last 14 games, a stretch in which he's slashing .311/.344/.574 with four doubles and 12 RBI -- although curiously, the only runs he's scored during that time have come on his own home runs, despite the fact that he's consistently batting leadoff for Tampa Bay. • Ha-Seong Kim notches three hits, RBI in loss
Ha-Seong Kim went 3-for-5 with a game-tying RBI double on Saturday in the Padres’ extra-inning loss at the hands of the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kim came through with a clutch game-tying double in the eighth inning off Diamondbacks reliever Ryan Thompson, that wound up eventually sending the contest to extra innings. The 28-year-old infielder has just three homers and four steals over his last 30 games, but he’s already at 10 homers and 17 thefts overall this season through 91 games leading into the All-Star break. • Matt Waldron fans six in no-decision vs. D-backs
Matt Waldron allowed three runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Waldron gave up five hits, including a fourth-inning solo shot to Lourdes Gurriel Jr., but managed to turn in another quality start. He struck out six and only handed out a pair of free passes. The 27-year-old knuckleballer was lone gone before this one was eventually decided in an extra-inning marathon. He’ll bring a solid 3.61 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 93/30 K/BB ratio across 99 2/3 innings (18 starts) into his first-half finale on Saturday against the Braves. Rotoworld Today, 3:32 am
    • Goes deep again
Ozuna went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Phillies.

Advice: Ozuna has homered in back-to-back games, and Saturday saw him produce his first multi-hit effort since June 23. The designated hitter has lost some consistency at the plate after hitting well early in June, but he's still a major power threat. Ozuna is slashing .298/.379/.571 with 23 homers, 72 RBI, 51 runs scored and 19 doubles across 87 contests this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:26 pm

    • Slugs 16th homer
Rutschman went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and a walk in a loss to the Athletics on Saturday.

Advice: Rutschman's three-run blast in the seventh inning didn't have much of an impact on the outcome since Oakland still led 17-4 at that point, but it may have been a momentum-shifter personally after he had collected just one hit over his previous 19 at-bats. The long ball also moved him into second place for homers among MLB catchers with 16 on the campaign. Only Oakland's Shea Langeliers -- who hit his 17th homer in the same contest Saturday -- has more home runs among big-league backstops. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:16 pm
