The 27-year-old continues to lead off against right-handed pitching but had struggled in July coming into today, hitting just .189 in 19 games with no stolen bases.     Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 1-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

    Advice: He also added a sacrifice fly and now has 19 home runs and 64 RBI on the season. If only other players in the Blue Jays lineup were performing up to the same standards they wouldn’t be sellers at the trade deadline. Vlad Jr.'s strong season comes with a 17.6 percent HR/FB ratio which is up from last year but still below the 2022 season and well below the bouncy-ball 2021 season. It’s looking increasingly like Vlad Jr. is a 30 home run bat the big league level and not the 40-plus home run guy we saw in 2021, but he should still remain tremendously valuable in fantasy leagues.     Advice: Smith’s home run was a 404-foot shot at 101.8 mph for his 11th of the season. His steal was also his seventh of the year to go along with a .282/.379/.452 slash line. The 26-year-old is enjoying a breakout season and has single-handedly won the 2021 trade that sent Joey Gallo to the Yankees for Smith, Ezequiel Duran, 2B/OF Trevor Hauver, and RHP Glenn Otto.
