    • Walker Buehler continues to work on mechanics
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Wednesday that right-hander Walker Buehler is continuing to work on his mechanics at Cressey Sports Performance in Florida.

Advice: “I can say there’s progress.. but I really can’t speak intelligently what that progress is. I really can’t” Roberts admitted on Wednesday. There’s still no clear timetable for his potential return, but the fact that he’s fully recovered from his injury and has been throwing regular bullpen sessions bodes well for a quick ramp up if the Dodgers need him back. Hopefully he’s able to correct whatever was ailing him as he registered a 5.84 ERA and 1.51 WHIP over 37 innings though his first eight starts on the year. Rotoworld Today, 2:44 pm

    • James McArthur notches 16th save versus Cardinals
Despite giving up a homer to the Cardinals’ Paul Goldschmidt, James McArthur earned his 16th save in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: McArthur also allowed a single before getting Lars Nootbaar on a flyout to end it. He really struggled in May and he took one bad loss last month, but the run he allowed today was his first surrendered in nine appearances. Rotoworld Today, 1:33 pm
    • Can't take advantage of offense
Lodolo came away with a no-decision in Tuesday's 12-6 win over the Rockies, giving up four runs on five hits and a walk over 3.2 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: The Reds staked Lodolo to a 5-0 lead after two innings, but the southpaw struggled with his command and served up a pair of homers to Brenton Doyle and Michael Toglia in the fourth inning before getting the hook after 69 pitches (36 strikes). Lodolo has failed to complete five innings in back-to-back outings, but that comes on the heels of four straight quality starts. He'll try to get back on track in his final trip to the mound before the All-Star break, as he lines up for a home start against the Marlins this weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 7:38 am

    • Goes yard twice in loss
Doyle went 3-for-4 with walk, a double and two solo home runs in Tuesday's 12-6 loss to the Reds.

Advice: The 26-year-old has been an absolute beast since slumping to a .223/.245/.298 slash line in June. Through eight games in July, Doyle has five multi-hit performances, five doubles, six homers and 11 RBI while batting .556 (15-for-27). The surge has boosted his OPS on the season to .813, and with 13 homers and 20 steals through 87 games, Doyle might have a shot at becoming the first Rockie to post a 30-30 season since Hall of Famer Larry Walker accomplished the feat in 1997. • Adds 15th homer
Paredes went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer and a walk in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Paredes provided the key blast in the first inning Tuesday, taking Carlos Rodon deep for a three-run shot, putting the Rays ahead 4-1 early. It's the fourth homer in 12 games for the third baseman, though he's gone just 9-for-44 (.205) in that span. Overall, Paredes is batting .267 with an .830 OPS, 15 homers, 50 RBI and 35 runs scored through 86 games this season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:10 am

    • Slugs 16th homer
Lindor went 3-for-4 with a walk, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Tuesday's 7-5 win over the Nationals.

Advice: The shortstop took Jake Irvin deep for a two-run shot in the sixth inning, giving the Mets a 6-0 lead that the bullpen couldn't quite squander. Lindor is up to 16 homers on the season, including three in the last eight games, and over his last 25 contests he's slashing .311/.379/.592 with 11 doubles, six long balls, seven steals, 17 RBI and 24 runs. • Smacks 15th home run
Westburg went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's loss against the Cubs.

Advice: Westburg took Jameson Taillon deep to one of the deepest parts of Camden Yards in the left-center field seats. The 418-foot blast was Westburg's third-longest homer this season and his 15th overall. He became the fourth different Orioles player with 15 or more home runs this season, most of any team in MLB. The 25-year-old continued his stellar first half, and he's now slashing .281/.328/.512 with 50 RBI and is on his way to his first All-Star appearance. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:31 pm

    • Brenton Doyle smacks two more homers
Brenton Doyle went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs, a double, and a walk on Tuesday against the Reds.

Advice: Doyle has been on fire. The two long balls give him six already in July and he’s been one of the standout performers over the past month of the season. He has a .300/.350/.564 slash line over his last 30 games with eight homers, six steals, and 22 RBI. The defensive standout has done well to be more patient and do significantly more damage on pitches inside the strike zone so far this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:12 pm

    • Nick Lodolo shaky after rain delay
Nick Lodolo was chased after 3 2/3 innings on Tuesday against the Rockies. He allowed four earned runs, struck out four batters, and walked one in a no-decision.

Advice: Lodolo started this game with two stellar innings before a storm rolled in and forced a 40 minute rain delay. He was nowhere near as sharp after the break and only completed one more full inning. It was frustrating for him to have such a disjointed return from injury against a soft Rockies lineup. He’s scheduled to face the Marlins at home in his last start before the All-Star break. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:11 pm
