      Advice: Beeks started the ninth inning with a one-run lead and immediately gave it up by allowing a home run to Athletics outfield Daz Cameron.       J.D. Davis went 2-for-6 with a two-run home run against the Rockies on Thursday.

      Brenton Doyle went 2-for-5 with a double, a run scored, two RBI and a stolen base against the Athletics on Thursday.

      Joey Estes allowed four runs in seven innings, struck out six and got a no-decision against the Rockies on Thursday.



      Advice: Seven innings marked the longest start of Estes’ young major league career. The six strikeouts were also a career-high for him. He’s still not usable in fantasy, but it was something for him to build on. The 22-year-old right-hander Is set to face the Rays on the road next week.

    • Feltner tosses six shutout innings Thursday
      Ryan Feltner threw six shutout innings, struck out six, and got a no-decision in the Rockies’ 10-9 loss to the Athletics on Thursday.



      Advice: Feltner cruised through six innings against the Athletics and left the game with a 4-0 lead. The Rockies bullpen couldn’t hold that lead, though. Feltner has just one win in 10 starts this season and his ERA is now 5.07. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Guardians at home next week.

      Advice: Judge extended the Yankees lead to 2-0 with a 414-foot shot off Luis Castillo in the third inning, his 15th long ball this year, tied for third-most in the majors, and his second in as many days. Judge has been on a tear this month, going 27-for-63 (.429) with nine homers and 17 RBI in his last 19 games.       Wells (elbow) plans to resume throwing this week in Sarasota, Matt Weyrich of The Baltimore Sun reports.

      Advice: This would be the first time Wells would play catch since May 1, which was right before he was sent for additional testing. The right-hander was placed on the injured list April 13 due to right elbow inflammation. His last outing was April 12 when he allowed four runs through four innings against Milwaukee.
