    • Logs steal in win
Merrill went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Merrill's first steal since May 14. Over the 20 contests between thefts, he hit a meager .224 (15-for-67) with no walks and just one extra-base hit. The 21-year-old is still at a respectable .268/.303/.344 slash line with three home runs, 22 RBI, 24 runs scored and eight steals over 63 contests this year. Merrill has been benched against some left-handed pitchers recently, but he should have no trouble maintaining a majority of the playing time in center field over Jose Azocar. • Big impact in second start
Toglia went 2-for-4 with a triple, three RBI and a run scored Friday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Toglia drew his second straight start in right field over Hunter Goodman since being recalled from the majors Thursday. He drove in one in his first appearance since the promotion and had another productive game Friday when he cleared the bases with a three-RBI triple in the fourth inning. Toglia came around to score on the same play but was not credited with an RBI due to an error by the Cardinals. The Rockies have rotated their outfield regularly this season, but Toglia appears to be the preferred option in right field for the time being. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:26 pm
    • Drives in four in win
Profar went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a three-run double in Friday's 10-3 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Profar went back-to-back with Fernando Tatis in the first inning and then added a three-run double in the eighth as part of a five-run inning. Through seven games in June, Profar has gone 7-for-25 (.280) with three extra-base hits and a 3:6 BB:K. The outfielder is only slightly cooling off from his impressive first two months -- he's now at a .325/.418/.496 slash line with nine homers, 42 RBI, 35 runs scored and four stolen bases over 67 contests. • Swipes fourth bag
Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a stolen base Friday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Blackmon has had a nice start to the Rockies' current road trip, going 3-for-7 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in two games. After attempting only one steal through May 12, he has three steals on four chances in his last 19 contests. Despite some surprising aggressiveness on the basepaths, Blackmon has disappointed with the bat by maintaining just a .127 ISO and .697 OPS in 209 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:15 pm
    • Clubs homer in loss
Pillar went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 7-1 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Pillar had gone 1-for-10 over his first four games in June before this multi-hit effort. His second-inning homer was all the Angels could put up against Framber Valdez, who pitched a complete game. Pillar is up to seven homers, 26 RBI, 17 runs scored and a .324/.379/.590 slash line over 117 plate appearances between the Angels and the White Sox this season. Despite his strong numbers recently, he's been on the bench for two of the last five games, which suggests Pillar doesn't have a full-time role against right-handed pitchers. • Drives in pair
Colas went 1-for-3 with two RBI on Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Colas started for the third time in five games since being recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Sunday -- trading off starts with Gavin Sheets in right field. Colas drove in his second and third runs of the season with a single in the fourth frame. There's not much to take away from a limited sample of 15 plate appearances since he rejoined the White Sox, though Colas has struck out only three times in that span. • Yordan Alvarez knocks in three in Astros’ win
Yordan Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a three-run double and a walk versus the Angels in Friday’s win.

Advice: Alvarez is 10-for-23 with three homers and nine RBI in six games this month, raising his OPS from .792 to .851. It’d be a big surprise if he’s not one of the AL’s best hitters the rest of the way. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:06 pm
    • Tallies three RBI in win
Carlson went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in Friday's victory over Colorado.

Advice: Carlson enjoyed his best game of the season, notching three RBI in a contest for the first time since June 20, 2023. The 25-year-old outfielder tied the game in the sixth with an RBI single before knocking a decisive two-run double in the eighth to extend the St. Louis lead to 8-5. Perhaps this success will spur on Carlson as he entered the night slashing .128/.241/.128 over 54 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:05 pm
    • Pops fourth homer
Robert went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Robert did his damage in the opening inning to tally his fourth home run of the season and second in four games since returning from the injured list. Manager Pedro Grifol suggested that Robert would require regular rest days, though he has started every matchup since being activated and has gone a combined 3-for-16 with eight strikeouts.
