• Bryce Harper homers, Phillies crush Mets in London
Bryce Harper went 3-for-4 with a solo homer in Saturday’s London Series opener, leading the Phillies to a commanding 7-2 victory over the division-rival Mets.

Advice: Harper predictably stole the spotlight during Saturday’s highly-anticipated London Series opener, becoming the first Phillies batter to record a hit in England with a first-inning double before taking Mets starter Sean Manaea deep to right field a couple frames later for his 15th round-tripper of the season. He ended up with three hits, falling just a triple shy of hitting for the cycle. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago
  • Francisco Lindor reaches three times in London opener
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk on Saturday in the Mets’ loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Lindor was one of the few bright spots for the Mets during Saturday’s London Series opener as he wound up reaching base safely in ftrhee of his five plate appearances. The 30-year-old shorstop is batting .300 (6-for-20) with one homer and one steal in six games since June 1. Rotoworld 51 minutes ago
  • Sitting down Saturday
Haniger isn't in the Mariners' lineup Saturday versus the Royals.

Advice: Haniger will get a breather Saturday after going 1-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored during Friday's loss. Mitch Garver will instead serve as Seattle's DH and bat sixth. Rotowire.com 52 minutes ago
  • Orion Kerkering whiffs three in relief vs. Mets
Orion Kerkering struck out three over 1 1/3 innings on Saturday against the Mets.

Advice: Kerkering came on to strike out Francisco Lindor to end the sixth inning, stranding a pair of inherited runners in the process, before coming back out to work a flawless seventh inning as well. The 23-year-old righty opened the season on the injured list, but has been phenomenal since returning, posting a sublime 1.19 ERA, 0.84 WHIP and 24/4 K/BB ratio across 22 2/3 innings (21 appearances). • Ranger Suárez fans six to beat Mets in London
Ranger Suárez struck out six and two runs over 5 2/3 innings on Saturday in a win over the Mets.

Advice: Suárez took the ball for Saturday’s London Series opener across the pond and got a big assist from teammate Orion Kerkering, who came on to strike out Mets star Francisco Lindor and strand a pair of inherited runners in the process. The 28-year-old southpaw has been masterful this season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in 12 of his 13 starts. He’ll bring a microscopic 1.81 ERA, 0.85 WHIP and 85/17 K/BB ratio across 79 2/3 innings (13 starts) into a road outing on Friday against the Orioles. Rotoworld 52 minutes ago
  • Sean Manaea takes loss in London Series opener
Sean Manaea was blasted for six runs over 3 2/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Manaea drew the starting assignment for Saturday’s London Series opener against the division-rival Phillies and was unable to complete four frames. The wheels came off completely in the fourth inning when he gave up homers to Bryce Harper and Whit Merrifield in a disastrous six-run frame. He’ll bring a 4.30 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 60/25 K/BB ratio across 60 2/3 innings (12 starts) into a home outing on Friday against the Padres. Rotoworld 53 minutes ago

  • Remains out Saturday
Soto (forearm) isn't in the Yankees' lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Advice: Soto will miss a second consecutive game since making an early exit from Thursday's contest. The Yankees are optimistic that the slugging outfielder will be able to avoid a trip to the injured list, but manager Aaron Boone said Saturday that it will likely be a few more days before Soto gets back into the lineup, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. In the meantime, Trent Grisham will continue to start in center field while Aaron Judge fills the void in right. Rotowire.com 56 minutes ago

  • Adael Amador joins Rockies on taxi squad for now
MLB.com’s Thomas Harding reports Rockies top prospect Adael Amador has joined the club in St. Louis, but no decision has been made whether to officially recall him for his major-league debut.

Advice: Independent journalist Francys Romero reported earlier Saturday that Amador, who has homered six times over his last nine games for Double-A Hartford, was being called up for his debut. That’s on hold at least for the moment with Harding adding that the Rockies are waiting to determine whether Brendan Rodgers hamstring strain is severe enough to require a trip to the injured list. Amador has joined Colorado’s taxi squad, and it’s still possible he could be officially recalled in the coming days. However, for the moment, it doesn’t sound like his debut is imminent. We’ll have additional updates on the developing situation as it unfolds. Rotoworld Today, 12:50 pm
  • Officially promoted
The Marlins recalled Munoz from Triple-A Jacksonville on Saturday to start against the Guardians.

Advice: The 24-year-old righty will come up from the minors to fill the open rotation spot created by Sixto Sanchez's (shoulder) move to the injured list. Munoz has started three games for the Marlins already this year, posting a 5.17 ERA and 1.21 WHIP alongside a 19:7 K:BB through 15.2 innings. Until he is able to turn in consistent success in the majors, he is not a recommended fantasy option. Rotowire.com Today, 12:49 pm
