    • Adolis Garcia hits solo homer in loss to Phillies
Adolis Garcia hit a solo homer in a loss to the Phillies on Thursday.

Advice: Garcia took Zack Wheeler deep in the second inning. The 31-year-old slugger has gone deep a dozen times thus far in 2024 while driving in 36 runs over Texas’s first 51 games. He also drew a walk, and he’s now slashing .253/.300/.500. Garcia is a flawed player, but the power-production is going to make him relevant for a long time. Rotoworld 22 minutes ago

    • Matt Chapman homers, drives in three in victory
Matt Chapman hit a three-run homer Thursday to help the Giants to a win over the Pirates.

Advice: Chapman remains hot, and his three-run blast off Hunter Stratton got San Francisco back in the game; turning a 6-2 deficit into a 6-5 game. The 31-year-old has homered eight times, and three of those blasts have come in his last three games. Chapman has been streaky for the majority of his career, and it appears he’s on the right side of things right now. Rotoworld 58 minutes ago

    • Checking out of lineup Thursday
Rodgers is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Athletics.

Advice: Rodgers will be joined on the bench by Elias Diaz, Charlie Blackmon and Kris Bryant as the Rockies rest four key regulars for the day game after a night game. Alan Trejo will step in at second base in place of Rodgers, who had slashed .280/.314/.317 with zero home runs and his first career stolen base while starting in each of the Rockies' previous 20 games. • Sitting Thursday
Campusano is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Campusano will rest for the Thursday afternoon game after he started behind the plate Tuesday and Wednesday while going 1-for-7 with a run scored. Kyle Higashioka will draw the start at catcher and will form a battery with right-hander Matt Waldron. Rotowire.com Today, 7:15 am

    • Christian Walker homers in win over Dodgers
Christian Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, and two runs scored on Wednesday against the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker led off the sixth inning with a solo homer off Elieser Hernández to extend the Diamondbacks’ lead. He later doubled in the eighth and scored on a passed ball. The 33-year-old first baseman is pacing right in line with his 2023 season, hitting .257/.358/.458 with 10 homers and 32 RBI across 215 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:02 pm
    • Corbin Carroll triples, plates two in win Wednesday
Corbin Carroll went 1-for-5 with a triple and two RBI against the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: Carroll put the Diamondbacks on the board in the fifth inning, hitting a triple off Tyler Glasnow to bring two runs in to score. He then cross home plate on a wild pitch. The 23-year-old outfielder has put together a modest five-game hitting streak. Carroll has struggled mightily to start the season, slashing .191/.275/.282 with two homers, 21 runs scored, 16 RBI, and eight steals across 211 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm
    • Drives in three
Soler went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored during Wednesday's 9-5 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

Advice: Soler notched his first three-RBI game of the campaign Wednesday, getting the Giants on the scoreboard with an RBI single in the fifth, plating Lamont Wade on a weak groundout to bring the team to within one in the eighth inning and putting San Francisco up 7-5 in the tenth with an RBI single. In five games since returning from a shoulder injury, Soler is 6-for-22 (.273) with four runs scored and five RBI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:34 pm

    • Swats another homer
Chapman went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional run during Wednesday's 9-5 extra-inning win over the Pirates.

Advice: The 31-year-old tagged Jared Jones for a two-run home run in the sixth inning, Chapman's second straight game with a long ball. He's been red-hot in his last five games, going 11-for-18 (.611) with seven extra-base hits, 10 runs, five RBI and two stolen bases. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:25 pm

    • Sparks rally Wednesday
Schneider went 1-for-4 with a walk, two RBI, one stolen base and one run scored in Wednesday's 9-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Schneider's two-run single sparked a seven-run rally for the Blue Jays in the second inning. The second baseman is up to three steals on the year, all of which have come since May 5. He's added .246/.345/.451 slash line with five home runs, 19 RBI, 20 runs scored and 10 doubles across 142 plate appearances. Schneider has hit leadoff in five straight games, with four of those games against a right-handed starting pitcher. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:54 pm
