    • Homers, reaches base five times
Henderson went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored while walking twice Sunday against the Rays.

Advice: Henderson led off the bottom of the first with his 19th homer of the year to provide the Orioles with the early advantage. He went on to reach base in all five at-bats, with the three-hit performance representing his fourth such effort of the season and first since April 24. Through 251 plate appearances over 57 games, Henderson is slashing .268/.368/.591 with 19 homers, 42 RBI, 44 runs and eight steals in as many attempts. Rotowire.com Today, 5:40 pm

    • Clubs third home run
Caballero went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two runs scored Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Caballero took the first pitch of the seventh inning over the left-field wall for his third homer of the year. It was also his second hit of the day, representing his ninth multi-hit game in 54 games this season. The performance raised Caballero's average to .260 with three homers, 18 RBI, 27 runs and 20 steals in 28 attempts. Rotowire.com Today, 5:32 pm

    • Nico Hoerner has two hits in loss to Reds
Nico Hoerner went 2-for-5 with a run scored in a loss to the Reds on Sunday.

Advice: Hoerner has been slowly increasing his batting average in recent weeks and is up to .262/.351/.366 on the season; however, he didn’t attempt a stolen base today and has just six on the season. After stealing 43 bases last year, it’s discouraging to see Hoerner not running as often. It could partially be a hamstring issue he’s been dealing with or a new philosophy under manager Craig Counsell, but since Hoerner doesn’t have much power, his fantasy value will take a big hit if he’s only a 25-stolen-base hitter who will hit .270-.280. If you need the steals, you should still keep Hoerner in your lineup, but if you’re OK on speed and somebody makes a compelling offer, he could be a player you’re OK parting with. • José Caballero goes 2-for-3, homers in Rays’ win
José Caballero went 2-for-3 with a homer Sunday as the Rays edged the Orioles 4-3.

Advice: Caballero has been a strikeout machine of late, but he managed to go without one for just the second time in 18 games today. He’s batting .260/.318/.370 on the season, but it just doesn’t seem likely that he’ll keep his average up like this with how often he fails to make contact. He currently has a .367 BABIP in spite of some of the weakest exit velocity numbers in the game. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm

    • Gunnar Henderson homers, reaches five times
Gunnar Henderson went 3-for-3 with a homer and two walks Sunday versus the Rays.

Advice: The homer, his 19th of the season, led off the bottom of the first. Henderson’s batting average has slipped in recent weeks — he came in at .221 in May after hitting .291 in April — but he’s still crushing it in terms of homers and walks. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm

    • Will Brennan goes 2-for-3 in loss
Will Brennan went 2-for-3 on Sunday in a loss to the Nationals. He also walked and scored a run.

Advice: While unspectacular, Brennan has found himself in the Guardians’ lineup nearly every game this season. He’s already matched his home run total from 2023 with five, but doesn’t offer much to fantasy managers besides consistent at-bats. Rotoworld Today, 1:10 pm

    • Moving into reserve role
Cabrera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Since DJ LeMahieu returned from the injured list Tuesday to make his season debut, Cabrera has unsurprisingly been the odd man out of the New York lineup more often than not. He's made just two starts in the six games since LeMahieu's return and appears set to fill a utility role moving forward after holding down the fort at third base for much of the past two months. • Heading to bench Sunday
Fry is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Fry will head to the bench after a stretch of six consecutive starts in which he slashed .333/.462/.667 with three extra-base hits, one stolen base, eight RBI and five runs. Five of his last six starts came in left field, but with Steven Kwan back from the injured list, Fry could end up seeing most of his opportunities at designated hitter moving forward. Kyle Manzardo represents Fry's primary competition for playing time at DH, but both will be on the bench Sunday while Jose Ramirez gets a day off from third base and but sticks in the starting nine in a non-defensive role. • Out against righty Sunday
Gimenez is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Gimenez took a seat Saturday against southpaw Mitchell Parker, but the lefty-hitting infielder will remain on the bench for the series finale versus the Nationals even while a right-hander (Jake Irvin) takes the bump for Washington. The Guardians may have just been looking to get an extended break for Gimenez, who had started in every game dating back to May 10 before his back-to-back absences. Daniel Schneemann was called up from Triple-A Columbus earlier Sunday and will pick up his first MLB start in place of Gimenez at the keystone. Rotowire.com Today, 10:33 am
