    • May go on rehab stint after break
Stanton (hamstring) could begin a minor-league rehab assignment later in July, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: It doesn't appear that Stanton will be ready to rejoin the Yankees immediately after the All-Star break, but he could begin playing in rehab games around that time. The slugger has been running on a treadmill and hitting, though he hasn't yet resumed on-field activities, per MLB.com. It's not yet clear how many rehab games Stanton would be asked to play, but there remains a chance he could be activated off the IL before the start of August. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago

    • Gives up six runs in no-decision
Lively didn't factor into the decision in Tuesday's 9-8 win over the Tigers, giving up six runs on seven hits, a walk and four strikeouts over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Lively was given a healthy 6-0 lead on Tuesday but allowed a season-high six runs of his own. The 32-year-old has now given up multiple runs in five straight starts and has seen his ERA go from 2.59 to 3.59 over his last 27 innings. The no-decision snapped a streak of 11 straight appearances in which he factored in the decision, as he's accumulated a solid 8-4 record in 15 starts this season. Lively is scheduled for one more start prior to the All-Star break, Sunday against the Rays. Rotowire.com 57 minutes ago

    • Goes deep in win
Happ went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a walk and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Happ stayed hot at the dish as he singled, walked and then crushed a three-run blast in his first three at-bats on Tuesday. It was Happ's 14th homer of the season, but more importantly, his eighth and 25th RBI over his last 22 games. For the season, the 29-year-old is hitting .244/.358/.455 and continues to be an everyday lock in the middle of the Cubs lineup. Rotowire.com Today, 9:08 pm

    • Two thefts in win
McCormick went 1-for-3 with one RBI, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: McCormick hasn't been running as much this season -- his pair of steals Tuesday gave him seven thefts on the year. He's logged four of them over the last 13 games, though he's batting just .212 (7-for-33) in that span. The outfielder is at a .207/.267/.313 slash line with three home runs, 19 RBI, 19 runs scored, five doubles and one triple across 52 contests this season. He's started five of the last eight games between left field and right field, including three starts versus right-handed pitchers, though McCormick will still have to compete with Joey Loperfido for playing time until Kyle Tucker (lower leg) is ready to return. • Clase locks down 28th save of 2024
Emmanuel Clase worked around trouble to earn his 28th save in an extra-innings win over the Tigers.

Advice: Clase didn’t technically allow any earned runs to score but a groundout and a sacrifice fly knocked in the automatic runner to score and make it a one-run game. Clase then allowed back-to-back singles which put the tying run on third base before getting a line out to center field to end the game. The 26-year-old has a 0.83 ERA on the season and has been one of the best closers in fantasy baseball. Rotoworld Today, 7:45 pm
    • Ben Lively struggles in no-decision
Ben Lively allowed six runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Tigers.

Advice: It was a disappointing performance for Lively in a relatively easy matchup. He induced just six whiffs on 36 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW, while also allowing three extra-base hits, including two home runs. He’s been a great story this season and will carry a 3.59 ERA into another plus matchup against the Rays this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 7:27 pm

    • Keibert Ruiz hits long home run in loss
Keibert Ruiz went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer on Tuesday against the Mets.

Advice: The Nationals offense came alive late against the Mets bullpen after being stifled for seven innings by Jose Quintana and Ruiz made this a game with his ninth inning blast. Overall, it’s been a disappointing season for Ruiz who’s sporting just a .599 OPS as we approach the All-Star break. Rotoworld Today, 7:01 pm

    • Hits big home run in win
Happ went 2-for-4 with a walk, a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Happ continues to enjoy the month of July, as he's batting ,417 since the calendar turned with three home runs and 11 RBI across seven games, pushing him to 14 long balls and 55 RBI overall. The veteran is still batting just .244 for the season, but based on the recent hot streak, that figure could rise quickly in the next few weeks. Rotowire.com Today, 6:44 pm

    • Happ stays hot with two hits, HR in big win
Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in a win over the Orioles on Tuesday.

Advice: Happ swatted a 395-foot three-run home run off of Dean Kremer in the fourth inning for his 14th home run of the season. He also added a 105.3 mph single earlier in the game. Over his last 20 games, Happ is 21-for-66 (.318) with seven home runs and 22 RBI. He’s absolutely on fire and needs to be in all lineups at this point. Rotoworld Today, 6:30 pm
