    • Sitting versus lefty
Blackmon isn't in the Rockies' lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Brewers, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: The left-handed bat of Blackmon will step out of the lineup Tuesday versus fellow southpaw Dallas Keuchel and the Brewers. Hunter Goodman will move into right field as a result while Elias Diaz serves as the DH, allowing Jacob Stallings to start behind the plate and bat sixth. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago
    • Starting Tuesday
Ward (head) is starting in left field and batting third Tuesday following being hit in the head Sunday.

Advice: Ward departed Sunday's game versus the Tigers in the bottom of the ninth inning after being struck by a pitch in the head, a 93 mph fastball thrown by Shelby Miller. Ward's removal from the game has now proved to be more of a precautionary move. Rotowire.com Today, 2:54 pm

    • Idle Tuesday
Ortiz isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Tuesday's game versus Colorado.

Advice: Ortiz was held hitless in five at-bats during his return to the lineup Monday after missing the Brewers' last three games due to a neck injury. He'll get a day to regroup Tuesday while Andruw Monasterio starts at the hot corner and bats ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:35 pm

    • Vlad Jr. returns to lineup Tuesday vs. Astros
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (finger) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s showdown against the Astros.

Advice: Guerrero is back at first base and batting third after being scratched from Monday’s series opener due to right finger discomfort after being hit by a pitch over the weekend. The 25-year-old fantasy stalwart has been sizzling-hot at the dish over the last few weeks, batting .365 (23-for-63) with six homers and 20 RBI over his last 15 games. Rotoworld Today, 1:47 pm
    • Jose Altuve back in Tuesday’s lineup vs. Blue Jays
Jose Altuve is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Altuve received a rare day off during Monday’s series opener following a sizzling-hot June where he batted .333 (34-for-102) with four homers and five steals over 25 contests. Rotoworld Today, 1:29 pm

    • Returns to Toronto lineup
Guerrero (finger) will start at first base and bat third in Tuesday's game versus the Astros.

Advice: Guerrero was removed from Sunday's game after being hit in the right hand by a pitch and didn't play Monday due to swelling in the fourth and fifth fingers on his right hand. However, he's feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday as the Blue Jays continue their series against the Astros. Rotowire.com Today, 1:27 pm
    • MacKenzie Gore denied win after strong showing
MacKenzie Gore allowed one run over 5 2/3 innings and struck out eight Monday against the Mets.

Advice: Gore was at 104 pitches, so it’s kind or understandable that he was pulled in the sixth. Still, he seemed to be very much in control at that point. He’d given up just a soft single before rebounding to retire the next two batters in the sixth. The Nationals pulled him with a 2-0 lead in favor of Derek Law, and the Mets, aided by a CJ Abrams error, went on to score three runs in the frame. That Gore didn’t get a win will probably save the Nationals about $100,000 in arbitration this winter, so they have that going for them. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 pm
    • Fans eight in no-decision
Gore did not factor into the decision in Monday's 9-7 loss to the Mets, allowing one run on five hits and one walk over 5.2 innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: The Washington southpaw created an incredible 21 whiffs to collect his eight punchouts, and he left the game with the Nationals ahead 2-0 only to watch Derek Law immediately cough up the lead. This was a bounce-back performance for Gore as he struggled in five June starts with a 5.13 ERA across 26.1 innings. The 25-year-old's season ERA now stands at 3.47 with 107:29 K:BB over 90.2 innings. He is tentatively scheduled to make his next outing against the Cardinals at home this weekend. • Joey Ortiz (neck) returns to Brewers lineup
Joey Ortiz is back at third base Monday after a three-game absence due to neck stiffness.

Advice: Ortiz is leading off with the Brewers facing a lefty tonight. He’ll continue to hit low in the order against righties. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:00 pm
