    • Nick Lodolo shaky after rain delay
Nick Lodolo was chased after 3 2/3 innings on Tuesday against the Rockies. He allowed four earned runs, struck out four batters, and walked one in a no-decision.

Advice: Lodolo started this game with two stellar innings before a storm rolled in and forced a 40 minute rain delay. He was nowhere near as sharp after the break and only completed one more full inning. It was frustrating for him to have such a disjointed return from injury against a soft Rockies lineup. He’s scheduled to face the Marlins at home in his last start before the All-Star break. Rotoworld Today, 8:11 pm

    • Paredes homers in win over Yankees
Isaac Paredes went 1-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Paredes’ long ball was a 107 mph shot that went 383 feet for his 15th of the season. It has not been a great start to the summer for the 25-year-old who came into today hitting just .224 in 40 games over the last seven weeks. The power is still nice to see but since Paredes doesn’t steal any bases, he’s going to need to get his batting average back up to be a consistently useful fantasy player in all formats. • Jake Irvin hit hard by Mets in loss
Jake Irvin allowed nine hits and six earned runs across six innings against the Mets on Tuesday. He struck out two and walked two in a loss.

Advice: Irvin was tasked with facing the Mets in back-to-back starts and really struggled his second time around. His curveball was lacking its usual depth and didn’t fool the Mets who were taking war-hacks all night. Brandon Nimmo and Francisco Lindor took him deep while Lindor, Francisco Alvarez, and Pete Alonso each hit long foul balls that were just wide of the foul pole. This was the first time Irvin had allowed more than four earned runs since April 24th in what’s otherwise been an excellent first half. Rotoworld Today, 7:00 pm

    • Scratched Tuesday
Heim was scratched from the Rangers' lineup ahead of Tuesday's game versus the Angels due to neck stiffness, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Heim was scheduled to serve as Texas' designated hitter Tuesday, but his neck will force him to sit down for at least one game. Adolis Garcia will instead operate as the DH, while Derek Hill will start in right field and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Today, 5:52 pm

    • Jonah Heim scratched Tuesday with neck stiffness
Jonah Heim was scratched from the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Angels due to neck stiffness.

Advice: It certainly sounds like the Rangers didn’t want to take any chances with Heim’s health, especially with the All-Star break right around the corner. It’ll be Adolis García taking over at designated hitter and Derek Hill entering the lineup in right field. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Today, 5:46 pm

    • Taylor Ward returns to lineup Tuesday vs. Rangers
Taylor Ward (knee) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Rangers.

Advice: Ward sat out Monday’s series opener due to a right knee contusion that he suffered over the weekend, but he’s back in left field and batting third for Tuesday’s showdown at Angel Stadium. Rotoworld Today, 3:25 pm

    • Reinstated off IL, starting Tuesday
The Giants reinstated Estrada (wrist) from the 10-day injured list and he will start at second base and bat seventh in Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Estrada had been playing through multiple injuries before being placed on the 10-day IL on June 28 with a left wrist sprain. He didn't end up needing a rehab assignment, and his return bolsters the infield depth for San Francisco. Estrada is slashing .231/.264/.376 with nine home runs and 39 RBI over 311 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Today, 2:57 pm

    • Giants activate Thairo Estrada for Tuesday return
Giants activated SS Thairo Estrada from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Estrada figures to spend most of his time at shortstop with Nick Ahmed jettisoned from San Francisco’s roster ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Blue Jays. The 28-year-old infielder has been out since late June recovering from left wrist tendinitis. Rotoworld Today, 2:57 pm

    • Returns to lineup
Ward (knee) is starting in left field and batting third Tuesday versus the Rangers.

Advice: Ward crashed into the Wrigley Field outfield wall in Sunday's loss to the Cubs, which resulted in some knee soreness. His knee felt better Monday and the outfielder is making his expected return Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 2:37 pm
