    • Elly De La Cruz collects 37th steal in Reds’ loss
      Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-4 with his 37th stolen base of the season on Monday in the Reds’ loss to the Pirates.

      Advice: De La Cruz was one of the few bright spots in this one as Cincinnati’s offense was almost completely shut down by Pirates rookie ace Paul Skenes into the late innings of the first meeting between the two division rivals this year. The 22-year-old middle infielder remains on pace to steal roughly 80 bases this season as he’s picked it up on the bases recently, notching at least one theft in three straight contests.       Davis was designated for assignment by the Athletics on Monday, Jeff Passan of ESPN.com reports.

      Advice: Davis will now be available to be claimed off waivers and if he has no takers, Oakland is expected to release the 31-year-old. After being released by the Giants in March, Davis compiled a .236 average with four home runs, five RBI and 12 runs scored over 123 at-bats in 39 games with the Athletics this season.       Davis went 2-for-3 with a walk and a run during a loss to the Twins in the first game of a doubleheader Sunday.

      Advice: Davis drew an increasingly rare start at third base and delivered his first multi-hit effort since May 24. The veteran has been displaced from the starting nine more often than not since late May, logging a total of just 17 plate appearances across six games since the calendar flipped to June. Davis is capable of playing both corner infield spots in addition to serving as the designated hitter, but younger assets Tyler Soderstrom, Abraham Toro and Brent Rooker are currently the preferred options at those respective positions.       Lewis went 3-for-7 with two home runs, three RBI, three walks and three runs scored as the Twins swept Sunday's doubleheader versus the Athletics.

      Advice: Lewis has done nothing but mash since returning from a quadriceps injury he suffered Opening Day. This was the second time since his injury that he's homered in consecutive contests, and he's up to seven long balls in just 11 games this season. He's added 11 RBI, 12 runs scored, two doubles and no stolen bases while batting .390 with a 1.398 OPS over 47 plate appearances. He's seen steady time between third base and designated hitter, though his lengthy injury may give the risk-averse fantasy manager caution despite Lewis' clear upside.       Royce Lewis clobbered a two-run homer in the first inning on Sunday night as the Twins took both games of their doubleheader against the Athletics.

      Advice: The 25-year-old superstar got things started with a bang in this one, demolishing a 427-foot (104.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Joey Estes in the opening inning. He also homered in the first game of the doubleheader and has now slugged seven long balls in his first 12 games on the season.       Advice: De La Cruz stuffed the stat sheet with a terrific performance Sunday, headlined by his solo homer in the eighth inning. He's up to 12 long balls with 36 steals this season. He went six straight games without a stolen base to begin the month but now has four over his last eight appearances.       Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.



      Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.

      Advice: De La Cruz made his impact in the ninth inning when he walked, stole second base and came home on Jeimer Candelario's double. The theft was De La Cruz's league-leading 35th of the season. His stolen-base attempts have dropped during the month of June.
