• Move to IL official
The Dodgers placed Betts (wrist) on the 10-day injured list Monday.

Advice: Betts remains without a clear timeline to return to the Dodgers lineup after fracturing a bone in his left hand/wrist in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals, but fantasy managers should prepare for the seven-time All-Star to be out for multiple weeks. The Dodgers recalled outfielder Miguel Vargas from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Vargas could serve as a short-side platoon player while he's up with the Dodgers, as manager Dave Roberts suggested after Sunday's game that Miguel Rojas will get the first chance to replace Betts' spot in the everyday lineup at shortstop. • Strikes out nine in win
Crawford (3-6) allowed three runs on three hits and a walk while striking out nine over six innings to earn the win Sunday over the Yankees.

Advice: Crawford had given up at least four runs in five of his last six starts, but he was able to turn in a strong performance Sunday. He allowed solo home runs to Aaron Judge and Jose Trevino, but Crawford's nine strikeouts were a season high, and he snapped a four-start losing streak. The right-hander is at a 3.54 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 88:26 K:BB through 86.1 innings over 15 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road in Cincinnati. • Rafael Devers plates two as Red Sox top Yankees
Rafael Devers went 1-for-3 and drove in a pair of runs on Sunday night as the Red Sox triumphed over the Yankees.

Advice: Devers delivered a sacrifice fly off of Marcus Stroman in the fourth inning that extended the Red Sox’ early lead to 4-1. He then added a valuable insurance run in the seventh with an RBI single that plated Jarren Duran to make it a 5-3 game. Devers then raced around to score on Connor Wong’s two-run triple. He’s having another solid season at the dish, slashing .284/.378/.550 with 13 homers, 36 RBI and one stolen base. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:19 pm

  • Kutter Crawford strikes out nine in win over Yanks
Kutter Crawford racked up nine strikeouts over six innings of three-run baseball in a victory over the Yankees on Sunday night.

Advice: The 28-year-old right-hander allowed just three hits and one walk on the night. He served up a solo homer to Aaron Judge in the opening inning, then kept the Yankees’ offense completely at bay until Jose Trevino crushed a solo homer in the sixth inning. They scratched out another run in the sixth as Anthony Volpe scampered home on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning. Crawford generated 16 swings and misses on 84 pitches in the ballgame — nine on his sweeper — while posting a terrific CSW of 39 percent. Now 3-6 on the season, Crawford will tote a 3.54 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and an 88/26 K/BB ratio (86 1/3 innings) into Saturday’s matchup against the Reds in Cincinnati. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:19 pm
  • Camilo Doval has ugly outing in rout
Brought in with a 13-2 lead in the ninth, Camilo Doval was charged with four runs in one-third of an inning Sunday against the Angels.

Advice: Ouch. The Giants just wanted to get Doval some work after three days off, and he wound up allowing four hits and two walks. It’s the second time this month that he’s allowed four runs, though it wasn’t nearly as costly last time. He’s been fine, if not quite as good as last year, aside from those two outings, so his gig is safe. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:17 pm
  • Slugs grand slam
Varsho went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win versus Cleveland.

Advice: Varsho took Nick Sandlin deep in the fifth inning to record the third grand slam of his career. Varsho has enjoyed a nice start to the month of June, batting .277 with eight extra-base hits and two steals. On the season, the versatile 27-year-old is batting .220 with 11 home runs, 35 RBI, 40 runs scored and seven stolen bases across 67 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:12 pm

  • Suffers hand fracture
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Betts fractured a bone in his left wrist in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Royals and will be out 'for some time," Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Advice: Betts went hitless in three at-bats before he exited the game in the seventh inning, when he went down in a heap of pain after taking a fastball off his wrist. On the bright side, Roberts said that the 31-year-old shortstop won't need surgery to repair the injury. Betts will likely be placed on the injured list Monday, and in his absence, Miguel Rojas could step into a starting role in the middle infield for Los Angeles. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:01 pm

  • Mookie Betts diagnosed with fractured left hand
Dodgers’ manager Dave Roberts told reporters after Sunday’s game that Mookie Betts has been diagnosed with a fractured left hand.

Advice: The unfortunate injury occurred when he was hit by a 98 mph fastball during Sunday’s game against the Royals. Roberts relayed that while the injury will not require surgery, it will take time to heal. He wouldn’t elaborate on that timetable, other than to say that the injury will not end his 2024 season. Expect Miguel Rojas to see increased action at shortstop while the 31-year-old superstar is shelved. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:45 pm

  • Exits after being hit by pitch
Betts exited Sunday's contest with the Royals in the seventh inning after being hit in the left hand by a pitch, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: Betts took a 97.9 mile-per-hour fastball from reliever Dan Altavilla off his left hand in the bottom of the seventh inning, immediately exiting the contest afterward. The 31-year-old was in an obvious amount of pain, and more information on his status will likely come following the conclusion of the game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:11 pm
