      Advice: After the Twins came back to take a two-run lead in the bottom of the eighth, Duran was summoned to close it out in the top of the ninth.       Advice: Bleday has found his swing with a homer in three straight games and a seven-game hitting streak. During that latter stretch, he's gone 9-for-33 (.273) with eight extra-base hits. The outfielder is slashing .247/.317/.478 with eight homers, 22 RBI, 21 runs scored, 15 doubles, two triples and no stolen bases over 206 plate appearances this season.       Advice: Hader has not allowed a hit over his last five appearances spanning seven innings, and he has a 12:2 K:BB with three saves and two wins in that span. The Astros are trending upward as well, which has given Hader more consistent work. The 26-year-old has shown some flashes in 2024 of why he was the fourth pick of the 2019 MLB Draft, but his lack of success prior to this season — and really this month — is reason to give pause in terms of making him a fantasy addition.       Josh Hader struck out two over a scoreless ninth to get a save Friday against the Athletics.

      Advice: Hader didn’t allow a hit and needed just 10 pitches to get through the inning even with the two strikeouts. The southpaw has now saved seven games, and his ERA has dropped to 3.91 after a few ugly outings to begin the campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm

      Paxton allowed five runs on five hits and four walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out four during the Dodgers' loss to the Reds.

      Advice: Paxton got off to a rough start by yielding a three-run shot to Spencer Steer in the first inning. The Reds's bats then went quiet until a six-run fifth inning. Paxton was charged with two of those as he gave up a season-high five runs during his shortest outing of the year. The veteran southpaw saw his ERA jump from 2.84 to 3.49 through 49 frames.
