• Exits with calf injury
Neto was removed from Saturday's game against the Dodgers with left calf tightness.

Advice: Neto slid to field a ball at shortstop and fell back to the ground in pain after attempting to get up and throw the ball. Encouragingly, Neto was able to walk off the field unassisted and it's expected he'll be evaluated during Sunday's team day off. Luis Guillorme will slide to shortstop while Michael Stefanic enters at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:25 pm

  • Zach Neto diagnosed with left calf tightness
The Angels announced that Zach Neto was removed from Saturday’s contest due to tightness in his left calf.

Advice: The 23-year-old shortstop suffered the injury while making a sliding stop on a ground ball in the fourth inning on Saturday night. The severity of the injury — as well as how much time (if any) Neto may miss — remains unclear. Fantasy mangers who are counting on Neto for next week should be sure to have an alternative option at the ready in case Neto lands on the injured list. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:21 pm

  • Zach Neto leaves game with apparent leg injury
Zach Neto was pulled from Saturday night’s ballgame against the Dodgers due to an apparent leg injury.

Advice: Neto made a sliding stop deep in the hole in the fourth inning, but when he got up to throw it looked as though his leg gave out on him. The 23-year-old shortstop also fouled a ball off of his leg earlier in the contest. He’ll head for further evaluation to see exactly what’s going on there. Stay tuned as the Angels should have an update on his status shortly. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:16 pm

  • Two solo shots in loss
Kiner-Falefa went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs and a hit-by-pitch in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Kiner-Falefa had not posted an extra-base hit over his previous 10 games, though he hit .281 (9-for-32) in that span. The 29-year-old also snapped a homer drought dating back to May 26. For the season, he's up to six homers in 75 contests, matching his total form 115 games a year ago. He's added a .281/.325/.408 slash line with 31 RBI, 22 runs scored and three stolen bases. He had exclusively hit in the bottom third of the order, but he was batting leadoff for Saturday's contest -- a move up the order would likely lead to better overall production if he can stay there. • Showing improvement
Berti (calf) is improving and could begin a minor-league rehab assignment in a few weeks, per MLB.com.

Advice: Yankees manager Aaron Boone said Friday that Berti is "moving in a good direction" and added that the infielder will "hopefully" be ready for a rehab assignment in "a few more weeks." Berti is currently on the 60-day IL due to a left calf strain and isn't eligible to be activated until late July. He will likely fill a utility role upon his return. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:03 pm

Kiner-Falefa now has six home runs on the year. He’s hitting .281 with a .733 OPS and 31 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:16 pm

  • Smith belts sixth home run in win Saturday
Josh Smith went 2-for-3 with a solo home run against the Royals on Saturday.

Advice: Smith’s home run was his sixth of the year. He’s 15-for-37 (.405) with three home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base in his last 13 games. Smith has stood out on the Rangers offense and found his way to the No. 3 spot in the lineup. Given Texas’ other options, they’ll continue to find playing time for him as long as he’s producing like this. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:46 pm

  • Dylan Moore doubles twice as Mariners rout Marlins
Dylan Moore doubled twice and drove in a run in a blowout win Saturday over the Marlins.

Advice: Moore now has 14 doubles on the season. The 31-year-old came into Saturday’s game hitting just .154 over the month of June, but he has swung the bat better over the last week with a pair of homers and multi-hit contests. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:36 pm

  • Ryan Bliss doubles twice, drives in two in rout
Ryan Bliss doubled twice and picked up three hits in a blowout win over the Marlins on Saturday.

Advice: Bliss also scored a run. The 24-year-old rookie has picked up six hits in his seven at-bats against Miami in the series, and that’s helped improve his slash to .283/.353/.457. The question now becomes what Seattle does with Bliss when Jorge Polanco (hamstring) comes off the injured list, and what kind of role he’d serve if he did stay on the roster. Based on what he’s done in the majors, he deserves playing time, but Seattle will want him to get regular at-bats somewhere. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:36 pm
