    • Alec Bohm delivers decisive two-run double
Alec Bohm went 3-for-5 with double and two RBI on Friday in the Phillies’ dramatic 5-3 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Bohm’s eleventh inning double put a stamp on what was maybe the game of the year so far with the Orioles and Phillies going back and forth all night with a long rain delay in between. It was his third hit of the night and second batted ball over 100 MPH. He continues to be a force in the middle of the Phillies’ lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:53 pm

    • Kevin Gausman surrenders three runs in loss
Kevin Gausman lost to the Guardians after allowing three runs in 5 1/3 innings on Friday.

Advice: Gausman’s velocity was well down for a second straight start tonight, even though he was working with an extra day off. It’s a definite cause for concern at this point; there’d be much more reason to expect Gausman to bounce back while throwing 94 mph than there is while he’s throwing 92. If there’s reason for optimism, it’s that’s he’s occasionally dealt with fluctuating velocity in the past. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:13 pm
    • Secures win Thursday
McArthur (3-3) allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the win over the Yankees on Thursday.

Advice: McArthur rebounded from his previous outing, which saw him take the loss versus the Mariners on Sunday after allowing three runs (two earned) in two-thirds of an inning. He's kept runs off the board in four of his five outings in June, but he has just one save this month. For the year, he's at a 5.08 ERA, 1.41 WHIP and 25:5 K:BB over 28.1 innings while converting 12 of his 16 save opportunities as the Royals' primary closer. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:09 am

    • Suzuki swipes fifth base in loss Thursday
Seiya Suzuki went 0-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base on Thursday.

Advice: Suzuki missed a couple of games last week with tightness in his side, but seemed to be feeling better in this one as evidenced by the stolen base. It was his fifth steal in 43 games this season. He had only six steals in 138 games with the Cubs last season. Rotoworld Thursday, 6:34 pm

    • Returning to lineup Thursday
Ward (back) is serving as the Angels' designated hitter and batting third Thursday versus the Diamondbacks, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Ward was taken out of Tuesday's game due to back tightness and had to miss Wednesday's contest as well, but the issue has now seemingly subsided. Since June 1, the 30-year-old outfielder has gone just 4-for-28 with two RBI and two runs while striking out eight times in nine games. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:27 pm

    • Goes six innings in loss
Keller (8-4) was charged with the loss after he allowed four runs on eight hits with four strikeouts over six innings Thursday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Keller's four earned runs allowed tied a season high, but he still managed to extend a streak of seven straight starts of at least six innings. He gave up a homers to Paul Goldschmidt and Brendan Donovan, making it the first time this season he's allowed multiple long balls in a game. The 28-year-old has a 3.36 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 78:22 K:BB across 85.2 innings this season. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:15 pm

    • Idle Thursday
Smith isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Thursday versus the Rangers.

Advice: Smith will get some scheduled rest after starting in five consecutive games. In that span, the catcher went 5-for-19 with a homer versus the Yankees and Rangers. With the 29-year-old on the bench Thursday, Austin Barnes will start behind the dish and bat ninth. Rotowire.com Thursday, 3:14 pm

    • Taylor Ward returns to lineup at DH on Thursday
Taylor Ward (back) is in the lineup for Thursday’s series finale against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Ward is back at designated hitter and batting third on Thursday evening following a one-game absence for precautionary reasons due to lower back tightness. The 30-year-old slugger, who has 12 homers and two steals in 65 games this season, has been the subject of trade rumors over the last few weeks and could wind up being moved in the coming weeks. • Mitch Keller gives up first homers in five weeks
Mitch Keller lost to the Cardinals after giving up four runs in six innings Thursday.

Advice: Keller had gone five straight starts without allowing a homer and hadn’t yielded more than one in any outing this season, but both Paul Goldschmidt and Brendan Donovan left the yard against him today. It’s the first time he’s given up more than two runs since Apr. 30. He’s now 8-4 with a 3.36 ERA. Rotoworld Thursday, 2:57 pm
