    Luis Arraez finished 4-for-5 with two RBI and three runs scored as the Padres topped the Royals 11-8 on Friday.

    Advice: The Padres had just two extra-base hits, both of which were doubles, and two walks tonight, but they collected 16 singles and went an incredible 11-for-18 with RISP.     Davis Schneider went 1-for-6 with a two-run home run to win the game 5-3 for the Blue Jays over the Pirates on Friday.

    Advice: It felt for a moment like this 14-inning marathon would go on forever before Schneider found the right field seats in Toronto. He’s now a fixture at lead-off and one of the few bright spots in what’s otherwise been a bleak season for the Blue Jays.     Advice: Mateo put the Orioles ahead in this one with his two-run double off Phil Maton in the sixth inning and Baltimore didn’t look back.     Colt Keith blasted a two-run homer on Friday night as the Tigers fell to the Red Sox in Boston.
