    • Continues power surge
Lewis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Lewis homered for the fifth time in his last six games, taking Joey Estes deep in the sixth inning. With 10 homers, 14 RBI and 15 runs scored over just 16 contests this season, Lewis is enjoying a breakout campaign despite missing over two months with an injury. It's likely that his power will regress at some point, but Lewis is talented enough to offer a safe floor for fantasy managers. Rotowire.com 11 minutes ago

    • Dylan Cease strikes out 10, allows four runs vs. MIL
Dylan Cease allowed four runs in 4 2/3 innings in a no-decision with 10 strikeouts against the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Cease needed 106 pitches to get the 14 outs, so he wasn’t able to get the final out needed to qualify for a win. The right-hander did at least help with the punchouts, and he’s now struck out 116 in his 91 1/3 innings in his first year with the Padres. Cease has scuffled in June, and will try and be more efficient — while still missing bats — against the Nationals on Wednesday. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

    • Taylor Ward drives in game-winner against Dodgers
Taylor Ward stole a base and drove home the game-winning run in the 10th against the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: Ward untied the game with an RBI single in the top of the 10th off Evan Phillips to give the Angels the lead and the (surprising) victory. The stolen base was just the third of the year for the 30-year-old outfielder. After a red-hot start, Ward has come back to earth — something that’s happened a bunch on his career — with a .240/.325/.419 slash over 77 games. Rotoworld 49 minutes ago

    • Royce Lewis hits 10th homer in 16th game
Royce Lewis homered and went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a loss to the Athletics on Friday.

Advice: Incredible. That’s Lewis’s 10th homer of the season, and it comes in just the 10th game of the season for the 25-year-old. He didn’t pick up any other hits and struck out twice, but it’s hard to care. What Lewis is doing right now is spectacular. Rotoworld Today, 9:09 pm

    • Tosses five frames
Singer yielded a run on three hits and two walks over five innings in a no-decision Friday. He struck out four during the loss to Texas.

Advice: Singer turned in three scoreless frames before Wyatt Langford knocked an RBI double in the fourth inning. It was the only damage against Singer through five innings, but the Royals bullpen would go on to allow five runs in the sixth and cost him a win. It was his first start without allowing a homer since May 19; in his previous four outings, he was taken deep six times, resulting in a 5.31 ERA. Singer lowered his season ERA to 3.29 with an 80:25 K:BB through 82 frames. He's currently in line for a home start against the Marlins next week. Rotowire.com Today, 8:19 pm
    • Brady Singer pitches well in no-decision on Friday
Brady Singer pitched well in a no-decision against the Rangers on Friday night, allowing just one run on three hits over his five frames.

Advice: Singer racked up four strikeouts on the evening while surrendering a pair of free passes. The lone run that scored against him came on an RBI double off the bat of Wyatt Langford in the fourth inning. Singer exited with a 2-1 lead and in line for a victory, but the Royals’ bullpen was unable to oblige. The 27-year-old hurler got nine whiffs on 89 pitches on the night, registering a CSW of 24 percent. He’ll carry a 3.29 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and an 80/25 K/BB ratio (82 innings) into Wednesday’s matchup against the Marlins. Rotoworld Today, 7:49 pm
    • Vladimir Guerrero Jr. homers in loss
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-4 with a solo home run on Friday in a loss to the Guardians

Advice: This Blue Jays offense is a disaster. Guerrero’s solo shot was their only glimmer of offense before they loaded the bases in the ninth inning. The home run was Guerrero’s eighth, a very disappointing number as we near the midway point of the season. Rotoworld Today, 6:50 pm
    • Bo Bichette (calf) expects to return when eligible
Bo Bichette (calf) is hopeful that he’ll return from the injured list when first eligible on Tuesday.

Advice: The 26-year-old shortstop took ground balls, hit in the batting cages and ran the bases with the team in Cleveland on Friday. As long as he avoids any setbacks over the weekend, anticipate his stint on the injured list to be as short as possible. Rotoworld Today, 3:10 pm

    • Crushed for 10 runs in second loss
Imanaga (7-2) took the loss to the Mets on Friday, allowing 10 runs on 11 eleven hits and one walk with three strikeouts over three innings.

Advice: Imanaga was hit hard early and often, surrendering six runs on three home runs in the first two innings and another run in the third. He was unable to record an out in the fourth frame and was charged with three more runs, resulting in the worst outing of his major-league career. In total, Imanaga allowed 11 hard-hit balls, as the velocity on each of his pitches was at least one mph below his season averages. Imanaga's ERA rose from 1.89 to 2.96 with a 1.10 WHIP and 81:12 K:BB over 79 innings. He'll look to rebound in a tentative matchup with the Giants next week. Rotowire.com Today, 3:10 pm
