    Mauricio Dubon clubbed a two-run homer on Friday night, helping to power the Astros to a 4-0 victory over the Tigers.

    Advice: The game had been a scoreless pitcher’s duel heading to the sixth inning, but the Astros finally broke through on an RBI triple from Alex Bregman and a sacrifice fly off the bat of Yordan Alvarez. Three batters later, Dubon crushed a 371-foot (104.7 mph EV) two-run homer on a first-pitch changeup from Tarik Skubal that effectively put the game away.     Advice: As a team, the Tigers were only able to muster five total hits against Hunter Brown and company on Friday night, with Keith the only member of the squad to have more than one. The 22-year-old’s bat has started to heat up after a miserable start to his MLB career, but he’s still slashing an underwhelming .222/.273/.284 with just two homers, 19 RBI and three stolen bases in 60 games on the season. The Houston utility man drew the start at first base -- his third this season -- after the Astros released Jose Abreu earlier in the day. Abreu's departure should cement Dubon into consistent playing time. Overall, the 29-year-old sports a .301/.327/.404 slash line in 165 plate appearances with 21 runs scored and 23 RBI. He’s trended down some since a torrid first few weeks of the season but still carries a solid .257/.308/.489 slash line with 11 home runs and 10 stolen bases on the season.
