• Adam Duvall homers, drives in two vs. Marlins
Adam Duvall went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in the Braves’ win over the Marlins.

Advice: Duvall sent a 406-foot blast into the left field stands to score Marcell Ozuna and give the Braves a 5-0 lead. It was only Duvall’s second homer of the season, as the outfielder remains in a platoon with Jared Kelenic and has made little work of his few opportunities. Despite the strong night, Duvall can’t be counted on for fantasy production in his current role. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

  • McCutchen has two hits, HR in win on Tuesday
Andrew McCutchen went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a win over the Brewers on Tuesday.

Advice: McCutchen had a rude awakening for Tobias Myers in his MLB debut by taking him 358 feet deep for a home run that left the bat at 105.1 mph. It was the veteran’s third home run of the season to go along with seven RBI and a .233/.324/.417 slash line. He’s not producing big results, but he plays every day for the Pirates which will give him some value in deeper formats. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago

  • Jason Heyward (back) still not swinging a bat
Jason Heyward (back) has yet to resume swinging a bat.

Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Heyward is still dealing with residual soreness and is more than a week away from starting a minor league rehab assignment. His ongoing absence provides some additional runway for prospect Andy Pages to continue playing regularly for Los Angeles in a corner outfield role. Rotoworld Today, 4:16 pm

  • Returns from IL
Robinson (shoulder) was reinstated from the 7-day injured list by Double-A Amarillo on Tuesday, Sam Dykstra of MiLB.com reports.

Advice: The 23-year-old suffered a right shoulder sprain during spring training but is now ready to make his 2024 debut with Amarillo. Robinson had a brief stint with the affiliate to close last season but spent most of the campaign at Single-A Visalia, where he had a .945 OPS in 43 games. Rotowire.com Today, 3:54 pm
  • Steps out of lineup
Renfroe is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Renfroe is in the midst of a 2-for-21 slump and will sit Tuesday after starting the previous six games. Dairon Blanco will take over in right field and bat seventh. Rotowire.com Today, 3:38 pm

  • Not taking swings
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Tuesday that Heyward (back) is still experiencing "residual soreness" and isn't yet swinging a bat, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: The veteran outfielder hoped to return when first eligible after he landed on the 10-day injured list April 3 with back soreness, but he's still having issues nearly three weeks later. Heyward will need some time to build back up once cleared to swing before starting a rehab assignment, so he's likely at least a few weeks away from rejoining the Dodgers. • Sits down Tuesday
Bader isn't in the Mets' lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Bader will get a day off after going 0-for-3 with a strikeout during Monday's win in the series opener. Brandon Nimmo will slide over to center field in his place, moving Jeff McNeil into left and allowing Joey Wendle to start at second base, batting eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:39 pm
  • Not starting Tuesday
Biggio isn't in the Blue Jays' lineup for Tuesday's game against Kansas City.

Advice: Biggio will get a day to rest Tuesday after going 1-for-4 with a double and a run scored during Monday's victory. His absence will allow Davis Schneider to start at the keystone while batting sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:15 pm

  • Baseball activities on tap
Robles (hamstring) will travel with the Nationals on their next road trip and will resume baseball activities, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Robles is nearly three weeks removed from suffering a left hamstring strain and has finally made enough progress to reincorporate baseball activities. He will presumably need some rehab games before being activated, so a return could still be more than a week away. Rotowire.com Today, 1:45 pm
