    • Earns another win
Bassitt (6-6) picked up the win Sunday, allowing three runs on eight hits and a walk over five innings against the Pirates. He struck out seven.

Advice: Bassitt didn't seem to be held back at all after leaving his previous start with neck spasms, tossing 100 pitches Sunday and picking up his third straight victory. The 35-year-old has been part of the decision in all 12 of his starts this season and hasn't yielded more than three runs in an outing since April 26. During that stretch, Bassitt is 4-2 with a 2.83 ERA across 35.0 innings. He's scheduled to make his next appearance Friday at Oakland. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:50 pm

    • Fans eight in no-decision
Pfaadt (2-4) came away with a no-decision Sunday against the Mets, allowing four earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Pfaadt was solid in this one outside of a rough third inning in which he allowed all four of his earned runs courtesy of back-to-back triples. The 25-year-old right-hander has now pitched six or more innings in seven consecutive starts and has yet to pitch less than five innings in any start this season. The second-year pro has been inconsistent, pitching to a 4.32 ERA but his 5.1 K/BB and 1.08 WHIP highlight his ability to miss bats. He will look for more success in his next start, currently scheduled for this weekend in San Diego. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:46 pm
    • Collects three hits in loss
Bellinger went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Bellinger played well but the rest of Chicago's lineup could only muster five hits overall, which limited his ability to collect counting stats. The 28-year-old is batting .318 over his last 10 games with a home run, four runs scored and five RBI. If Bellinger gets more support from his teammates, he could really take off across the board, though he should have plenty of fantasy value either way given his ability to hit the ball over the fall and swipe a base on occasion. • Labors through four
Mize did not factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits and four walks over four innings against the Red Sox. He struck out four.

Advice: Mize allowed solo runs in each of the first three innings, needing 82 pitches to escape four innings. It was a struggle throughout much of the outing for Mize, who allowed nine batters to reach base. After posting seven-consecutive starts of at least five innings including four quality starts, Mize has failed to finish the fifth in any of his last three starts, allowing at least nine baserunners in each. He'll carry a 4.70 ERA and 1.49 WHIP into his next start, likely to take place next weekend when the Tigers play host to the Brewers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:53 pm

    • Chris Bassitt strikes out seven in win
Chris Bassitt struck out seven across five innings in a 5-4 win over the Pirates on Sunday. He allowed three earned runs and walked one while securing the win.

Advice: Bassitt was able to navigate nine Pirates base runners to keep just enough runs off the board and earn his sixth win of the season. This was his third straight win in as many starts as he’s put a poor April in the rear view mirror and pitched much more like the ultra-steady Bassitt we’ve come to expect. • Oneil Cruz with two hits, scores twice
Oneil Cruz went 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored against the Blue Jays on Sunday.

Advice: Each of Cruz’s hits were blistered - the first a single at 117.2 MPH off the bat and then later a 111.8 MPH double. While falling into a platoon and striking out too often, getting a glimpse of his gaudy tools reminds us a hot streak may always be right around the corner for Cruz. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:11 pm

    • Casey Mize walks four in four innings
Casey Mize surrendered three runs — two earned — and walked four in four innings Sunday against the Red Sox.

Advice: This really should have been worse, but the Red Sox went 0-for-2 stealing bases to help Mize out. It’s the third straight start in which Mize has failed to complete five innings, and his ERA sits at 4.70 after 11 starts. The Tigers aren’t going to remain patient for much longer. • Brandon Pfaadt allows four runs in six innings
Brandon Pfaadt pitched six innings on Sunday against the Mets. He struck out eight and walked two batters.

Advice: Pfaadt pitched very well in this game despite the four earned runs. The Mets were swinging over his sweeper all afternoon before a rally with back-to-back triples by Brandon Nimmo and J.D. Martinez fueled all four of their runs. Still, good but not great has been the story with Pfaadt all season. He will take a 4.32 ERA into his next start against the Padres. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:45 pm
    • Receiving breather Sunday
Realmuto is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

Advice: Realmuto started the first two games of the series and will receive Sunday off after going 0-for-8 with four strikeouts and a run scored. Garrett Stubbs will step in behind the plate and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:15 pm
