    • Julio Rodríguez goes 4-for-4, delivers ninth homer
Julio Rodríguez went 4-for-4 with a homer and a double before coming out of Tuesday’s game against the Padres.

Advice: Rodríguez’s quad isn’t 100 percent, so the Mariners took him out with a 7-1 lead after seven innings. Rodríguez’s homer was his only hard-hit ball tonight, but it was pretty impressive, getting into the second deck at Petco Park. He’s 7-for-13 with two homers and two doubles since Friday. • Opens scoring with homer
Reynolds went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Reynolds already has four homers and 10 RBI over eight games in July, continuing his surge that lasted nearly all of June. The outfielder is batting .331 since the start of June, with 10 long balls over 34 contests in that span. He's up to 17 homers, 56 RBI, 42 runs scored, five stolen bases and a .280/.344/.486 slash line through 91 games as the centerpiece of the Pirates' offense this season. • Rafael Devers drives in three more runs in win
Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored, three RBI, and a walk in a 12-9 win over the Athletics on Tuesday.

Advice: Devers has been an RBI machine of late. Tuesday was the seventh time in eight games that he drove in multiple runs. Coincidentally, the Red Sox have also won seven of their last eight games. His OPS also climbed to .976, good for sixth-highest in the entire league. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:31 pm

    • Doubles, drives in two in win
Suzuki went 2-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 9-2 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Suzuki snapped a mini 0-for-7 slump and posted his third multi-hit performance in seven games this month. The outfielder has developed into a consistent fantasy contributor who typically doesn't endure cold streaks for too long. On the season, Suzuki is now batting .258 with a .791 OPS. Those are slightly below his career figures of .271 and .806, respectively, but they're still healthy numbers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:58 pm

    • Julio Rodríguez back in lineup Tuesday vs. Padres
Julio Rodríguez (quad) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Padres.

Advice: Rodríguez is back in center field and batting cleanup for Tuesday’s series opener in San Diego after a one-game absence over the weekend due to a right quad injury. An MRI came back clean for any structural damage and it doesn’t seem like he’s going to need any additional time off. The hope here for fantasy managers is that he’ll benefit from some extra time off during next week’s All-Star break and come back ready to roll in the second half. • Back in lineup Tuesday
Rodriguez (quadriceps) is starting in center field and batting in the cleanup spot for Tuesday's game against the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Rodriguez was removed from Saturday's game against the Blue Jays due to a quadriceps injury. He was absent from the lineup Sunday, but he managed to pinch hit in the eighth inning and was hit by a pitch in his lone plate appearance. The Mariners' day off Monday seems to have done the trick for Rodriguez as he returns to his regular post in center field for Tuesday's series opener. Since June 1, the 23-year-old is slashing .212/.273/.331 with four home runs, nine RBI and a 25.0 percent strikeout rate across 128 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:49 pm

    • Hunter Greene earns first All-Star Game selection
Hunter Greene has been added to the National League All-Star roster.

Advice: Greene earns his first trip to the Midsummer Classic, albeit as an injury replacement, after posting a strong 3.45 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and 116/43 K/BB ratio across 104 1/3 innings (18 starts) this season for Cincinnati. The hard-throwing 24-year-old former top prospect is starting to really deliver on the promise he showed during his meteoric rise to the big leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:27 pm

    • Rafael Devers drops out of ’24 MLB All-Star Game
Rafael Devers won’t participate in the 2024 MLB All-Star game due to a lingering left shoulder injury.

Advice: Devers has elected to drop out of the Midsummer Classic to give his left shoulder some extra rest. The 27-year-old slugger, who has been playing through the lingering issue for months at this point, has been Boston’s primary offensive catalyst this season as they’ve emerged as a surprise contender in the AL East. His departure from the American League’s roster would seem to pave the way for Jordan Westburg, who finished third in balloting at the hot corner, to take his spot. • Will rest shoulder over break
Devers will skip next week's All-Star Game in order to rest a nagging left shoulder injury, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Devers missed a few games back in April after injuring the shoulder and it's evidently still caused discomfort at times. The third baseman's production has gotten better every month this season, so the injury doesn't seem to be affecting him much. He has started every game since June 11, including Tuesday's versus the Athletics. Still, Devers and the Red Sox felt it was best for him to rest up over the All-Star break. A replacement for Devers on the American League roster will be announced in the coming days. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:25 pm
