    • Bryce Harper homers, drives in four in win
Bryce Harper went 3-for-3 with a grand slam in a 10-1 win over the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

Advice: Harper took a fourth inning pitch from Jose Berrios and hit it 360 feet for a grand slam that left the bat at 95.4 mph and would have been a home run in only two stadiums. Of course, Harper isn’t complaining and neither are his fantasy managers. The 31-year-old is now up to nine home runs and 28 RBI on the season and remains one of the most valuable hitters in fantasy. • CT scan on Ryan Pepiot’s leg comes back negative
A CT scan on Ryan Pepiot’s left leg came back negative for any fractures.

Advice: Pepiot was sent for some additional imaging after taking a 107.5 mph comebacker off his left leg during Sunday’s series finale against the Mets. The positive news is that he appears to have avoided serious injury, but Rays manager Kevin Cash indicated late Tuesday that the 26-year-old righty is likely headed for the injured list. It’s a tough break for fantasy managers since Pepiot has been pitching extremely well this season in his Tampa Bay debut. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:27 pm

    • Returning this weekend
Astros manager Joe Espada said Tuesday that Javier (neck) will return from the injured list this weekend to start against the Tigers, Julia Morales of AT&T SportsNet Southwest reports.

Advice: Javier will return this weekend after missing just under a month due to the neck issue, though it's unclear exactly which day he'll take the mound in Detroit. The 27-year-old threw 68 pitches over 3.1 frames in his lone rehab outing and may face some minor workload limitations in his first outing back with the Astros. • Espada: Cristian Javier to return this weekend
Cristian Javier (neck) will return this weekend to start against the Tigers.

Advice: Astros manager Joe Espada confirmed what was being widely speculated that Javier would return to Houston’s injury-plagued starting rotation mix after making a minor league rehab start on Saturday for Double-A Corpus Christi. The 27-year-old righty might need some time to knock off the rust, but there likely won’t be any workload restrictions after throwing 68 pitches in his lone rehab outing. • Seiya Suzuki (oblique) starting rehab assignment
Seiya Suzuki (oblique) will begin a minor league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Iowa.

Advice: Cubs manager Craig Counsell told reporters Suzuki is likely to return to Chicago’s lineup later this week on either Friday or Saturday when they take on the Pirates. The 29-year-old corner outfielder has been sidelined since mid-April due to a right oblique strain, which was expected to keep him on the shelf for at least one month. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:00 pm

    • Jeimer Candelario returns to lineup on Tuesday
Jeimer Candelario (shin) has returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Candelario is back for Tuesday’s series opener at Great American Ball Park following a one-game absence due to a left shin contusion. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:48 pm

    • Taking batting practice
Thomas (knee) will take full batting practice on the field Tuesday, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: It will be his first time doing so since he went down with a left MCL sprain in his knee two weeks ago. Thomas will need to do some running and other drills before being cleared for a rehab assignment, but he seems to be making nice progress. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:35 pm

    • Lane Thomas (knee) takes batting practice Tuesday
Lane Thomas (knee) progressed to taking batting practice on Tuesday.

    • Grayson Rodriguez unlikely to require rehab start
Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) continued playing catch on Tuesday.

Advice: Rodriguez expressed optimism to reporters that he could return to Baltimore’s starting rotation following a minimum stay on the 15-day injured list due to right shoulder inflammation. It certainly doesn’t sound like there are any long-term concerns with the 24-year-old burgeoning ace. He should be able to jump right back into the Orioles’ stacked rotation mix by mid-May without a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:26 pm
