    • Garrett Crochet fans 10 as White Sox snap skid
Garrett Crochet yielded two runs — one earned — and struck out 10 in six innings as the White Sox defeated the Red Sox 7-2 to snap a 14-game losing streak.

Advice: The White Sox’s previous win also, not coincidentally, came in a Crochet start on May 21. He has six of the White Sox’s 16 victories on the year. Crochet reached 10 strikeouts for the fourth time this season while allowing two runs or fewer for the eighth straight start. He’s due to face the Mariners next. Rotoworld 11 minutes ago

    • Sale strikes out 10 in loss to Nationals Friday
Chris Sale allowed two runs in seven innings and took the loss against the Nationals on Friday.

Advice: Sale gave up five hits, walked one and struck out 10. It was an impressive bounce back performance after he allowed eight runs in his last start. Sale has been tremendous at times this season. While he has a 3.01 ERA on the year, his xFIP is even better at 2.43. The 35-year-old left-hander is set to face the Orioles on the road next week. • Implodes vs. Brewers
Olson (1-7) took the loss Friday against Milwaukee, allowing eight runs on 12 hits and a walk over four innings. He struck out six.

Advice: It was a brutal night for Olson, who was tagged for a career-high eight runs. The 24-year-old right-hander has now allowed 13 runs over 9.1 innings in his last two outings after holding opponents to one earned run or fewer in each of his previous six outings. Overall, Olson sports a 3.43 ERA with a 1.20 WHIP and 58:22 K:BB across 65.2 innings. He'll look to get back on track in his next start, currently scheduled for next week at home against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Today, 6:40 pm

    • Olson hit hard again in loss Friday
Reese Olson allowed eight runs in four innings and took the loss against the Brewers on Friday.

Advice: Olson gave up 12 hits, walked one and struck out six. He allowed five runs to the Red Sox in his last start and followed it up with his worst start of the season. Olson had a 1.92 ERA at the end of May, but now his ERA is 3.43 on the season. He allowed two home runs against the Red Sox in his last start, but didn’t allow any home runs to the Brewers. Olson did allow three doubles and a triple to Milwaukee. He struck out three in the first inning, but then allowed five runs in the second inning and it was downhill from there. The 24-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back against the Nationals at home next week. Rotoworld Today, 6:26 pm

    • Rebounds in losing effort
Sale (8-2) took the loss Friday against the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out 10.

Advice: It was a strong bounce-back effort from Sale after he surrendered eight runs against Oakland in his last start. However, Atlanta couldn't get on the board until the eighth inning in an eventual 2-1 defeat. Sale now has eight or more strikeouts in six of his last seven outings. His ERA sits at 3.01 with a 0.94 WHIP and 92:11 K:BB across 12 starts (74.2 innings) this year. Sale's currently in line for a road matchup with the Orioles in his next outing. • Bednar picks up 13th save Friday
David Bednar tossed a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Twins on Friday.

Advice: The save was Bednar’s 13th of the season. He blew three of his first four save opportunities this season, but since then he’s converted on 12 consecutive save chances. After a rough beginning to the season, he looks like one of the more reliable closers in the league. Rotoworld Today, 6:10 pm

    • Playing time trending down
Rosario is not in the lineup for Friday's game versus Atlanta.

Advice: It's the third time in four games that Rosario has been out of the lineup. Two of those have been against lefties -- including Friday -- but Rosario also sat out Thursday's contest versus a right-hander. Jesse Winker and Lane Thomas will handle corner outfield duties for the Nationals on Friday. Rotowire.com Today, 12:47 pm

    • Senga to throw bullpen next week
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is set to throw a bullpen session early next week, according to Mike Puma of the New York Post.

Advice: The Mets believe the 31-year-old right-hander is trending in the right direction. A bullpen session would represent significant progress, though Senga is still without a clear timetable for returning. He’s been out all season recovering from a shoulder injury. • Crushes seventh homer
Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a walk and a three-run home run in Thursday's win over the Orioles.

Advice: The first baseman opened the scoring by launching a cutter from Cade Povich over the right-field fence in the third inning. Guerrero has gone yard twice in the last four games, giving him seven homers on the year. Over the last 15 contests he's slashing .345/.433/.552. Rotowire.com Today, 6:45 am
