    • Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Raleigh is not in the Mariners' lineup Tuesday versus the Athletics.

Advice: Raleigh had a three game hit streak, but will begin Tuesday's matchup from the bench. He did not start May 29 against the Astros, but did come off the bench for two plate appearances. In his place, Mitch Garver has the start behind the plate and Mitch Haniger is the DH. Rotowire.com 48 minutes ago

    • Report: Padres pursuing trade for Garrett Crochet
The Athletic’s Dennis Lin and Ken Rosenthal report the Padres have shown strong interest in trade discussions for White Sox left-hander Garrett Crochet.

Advice: Here we go. No word on how close a potential deal may be, but it’s worth noting the two sides struck a deal a few months ago centered around White Sox ace Dylan Cease and appear to be circling another potential blockbuster. San Diego’s starting pitching depth took a serious hit last weekend with Yu Darvish (groin) and Joe Musgrove (elbow) landing on the injured list so it wouldn’t be shocking to see Padres general manager AJ Preller getting aggressive to fill the void. Crochet is in the midst of an unexpected breakout campaign with a stellar 3.49 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 93/15 K/BB ratio across 69 2/3 innings (13 starts). The former top prospect is still only 24 years old and figures to command an astronomical asking price in trade talks. Rotoworld Today, 1:13 pm

    • Playing time trending down
Mullins is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Mullins has now been out of the lineup for three of the last four games, and all of them have been against right-handed pitching. He's hitless across his previous five contests, dragging his season line down to .181/.225/.319. Colton Cowser will again be in center field, while Austin Hays handles left. • Hitting on field, fields grounders
Drury (hamstring) will hit on the field and take grounders Monday, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Drury will probably need to run the bases before being cleared for a rehab assignment. It's not clear when that might occur, but he's progressing steadily. The veteran infielder has been sidelined since early May with a left hamstring strain. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:36 pm

    • Brandon Drury (hamstring) works out on field
Brandon Drury hit and took grounders on the field prior to Monday’s game.

Advice: Drury has been out for nearly four weeks due to a hamstring strain, but it sounds like a return date is within site. He’ll probably require a couple of minor league games before being activated. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:22 pm

    • Sitting against righty again
Mullins is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Mullins' grasp on a regular role in the Baltimore outfield could be loosening; he'll find himself on the bench against a right-handed starting pitcher (Kevin Gausman) for the second time in three games. Dating back to May 24, Mullins has produced just one hit in 20 at-bats, bringing his season-long slash line down to an abysmal .181/.225/.319 over 178 plate appearances. With Mullins taking a seat, Colton Cowser will cover center field while Austin Hays cracks the lineup in left field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:38 am
    • Wins with quality start
Lodolo (5-2) allowed two runs on seven hits and a walk over six innings Sunday, striking out three and earning a win over the Cubs.

Advice: Lodolo kept the Cubs off the board through four innings before they tallied a run in the fifth and sixth innings. He's allowed three runs over 11.1 innings while winning his last two starts since returning from the injured list. However, he's totaled just six punchouts during that span. On the year, Lodolo owns a 3.11 ERA with a 49:10 K:BB through 46.1 frames. His next start is projected to be a rematch with the Cubs at home. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:02 am

    • Rebounds against A's
Morton didn't factor into the decision Sunday against Oakland, allowing one hit and five walks with six strikeouts across six scoreless innings.

Advice: During his last start, Morton was hammered for 12 hits and eight runs by the Nationals. He did a complete 180 on Sunday, yielding one hit and delivering his first scoreless start since April 27. However, it wasn't a perfect outing, as Morton tied his season high in walks and hit the strike zone on just 58 of his 97 pitches. Over 62.2 innings, Morton owns a 3.88 ERA with a 65:28 K:BB, and he's scheduled for a rematch with the Nationals in Washington on Saturday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:35 pm

    • Crumbles against Yankees
Doval (2-1) allowed four runs on four hits and two walks in a blown save chance Sunday. He recorded two outs while taking a loss against the Yankees.

Advice: Doval entered the game with a 5-3 lead in the ninth inning and was quickly jumped by the top of the Yankees' lineup. With one out in the inning, he yielded an RBI triple to Anthony Volpe, a go-ahead, two-run shot to Juan Soto and an RBI double to Giancarlo Stanton. Doval had allowed four earned runs over his previous 15.2 innings before Sunday's ugly outing. His ERA shot up from 2.78 to 4.24 with a 30:17 K:BB through 23.1 frames. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:44 pm
