Alec Marsh surrenders five in loss to Padres
Alec Marsh went five innings while allowing five runs in a loss Saturday to the Padres.
Advice: Marsh, 26, dealt with control and command issues in this one, as he allowed seven hits, three walks and threw 49-of-80 pitches for strikes. It makes back-to-back outings where the right-hander has allowed five earned runs, but he pitched much better against Minnesota on Monday than this outing. Marsh gets a chance to rebound next weekend against Seattle in Kansas City.
