    • Career day against BoSox
Fried (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Boston, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out 13.

Advice: Fried fanned a career-high 13 batters Tuesday, surpassing 10 Ks for the first time since 2019. The southpaw yielded his first long ball in five starts, as lefty-hitting Dominic Smith launched a solo homer in the third inning. Fried has logged a quality start in six of his last eight appearances, a stretch in which he owns a 1.57 ERA and a 55:13 K:BB over 57.1 innings. He's scheduled to face the Nationals in Washington on Sunday. Rotowire.com 9 minutes ago

    • Royce Lewis homers against Yankees in return
Royce Lewis clubbed a solo homer and walked twice on Tuesday in the Twins’ loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Of course. Lewis made an immediate impact in his return to Minnesota’s lineup on Tuesday night in New York, taking Yankees veteran reliever Tommy Kahnle deep for a seventh-inning solo shot to left field. The 25-year-old reached base safely in all three of his plate appearances and has two homers in just two games played on the year. The central question for fantasy managers moving forward is whether he can stay on the field for an extended period to establish himself as an elite fantasy contributor at the hot corner. • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Caballero is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game at Miami.

Advice: Caballero started the past four games but will head to the bench Tuesday after he went 4-for-15 with a homer, two RBI, five runs and a stolen base during that stretch. Amed Rosario will take over at shortstop and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 12:59 pm

    • Continuing rehab at Triple-A
Dominguez's (elbow) rehab assignment was extended an additional 10 days and will continue at Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, the Yankees announced Tuesday.

Advice: Dominguez will make another step in his recovery from Tommy John surgery he underwent last September, bumping his rehab assignment up to the Triple-A level. He's already appeared in 14 minor-league games split across Double-A Somerset and Single-A Tampa, and Dominguez will likely require a handful more at Scranton/Wilkes-Barre before being activated. Even when cleared, Dominguez will have a tough time cracking New York's active roster considering its abundance of outfield talent. Rotowire.com Today, 11:30 am

    • Dominguez (elbow) moves rehab to Triple-A
The Yankees extended Jasson Dominguez’s rehab assignment by 10 days and transferred it to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

Advice: Dominguez registered a .992 OPS with Double-A Somerset with four homers over 14 games. The 21-year-old outfielder is working his way back from Tommy John surgery, and now will be a step away from the majors. The questions now are when Dominguez will reach the highest level, and what exactly New York plans to do to get him in the lineup. The latter question will likely be answered by either an injury or Dominguez continuing to tear the cover off the baseball. Rotoworld Today, 11:27 am

    • Twins activate Royce Lewis for Tuesday return
Twins activated INF Royce Lewis from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Lewis is officially back at third base and batting fifth for Tuesday’s highly-anticipated series opener against the Yankees in New York. The talented 24-year-old homered and went 2-for-2 on Opening Day before leaving with his quad injury that cost him over two months. Lewis has the talent to be a major fantasy contributor, but there are going to be questions on whether he can stay on the field based on his lengthy injury history. Rotoworld Today, 9:38 am

    • Returning from stint on IL
The Twins activated Lewis (quadricep) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Lewis is ready to go following an absence of nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. The 24-year-old went 4-for-23 with an 8:1 K:BB over 24 plate appearances during a six-game rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic, the Twins have instructed Lewis to run at less than full speed in hopes that it will give him a better chance of staying healthy. While that could put a bit of a damper on his stolen-base outlook, it's not a big part of Lewis' game, anyway, as he's totaled just six steals in 71 career games. Lewis will regain his role as the Twins' everyday third baseman, with Jose Miranda likely to now see reps in the designated hitter spot and/or first base. Rotowire.com Today, 8:24 am

    • Earns ninth save
Hader earned a save against the Cardinals on Monday, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Entering with a 7-4 lead in the ninth inning, Hader needed only 14 pitches to secure his ninth save of the season. Hader has only allowed one run over his past 11 appearances and is now 9-for-10 in save attempts in 2024. He currently owns a 3.54 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 45:10 K:BB in 28 innings. • Homers twice in loss
Gorman went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in a 7-4 loss to the Astros on Monday.

Advice: Gorman hit solo home runs off Justin Verlander in the first and fifth innings and added a walk in the third. Gorman has been on an absolute binge in his past 10 games, tallying five multi-hit efforts, six home runs and 12 RBI since May 21. On the season, Gorman is now slashing .230/.318/.494 and leads all second basemen in home runs with 13. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:01 pm
