Suzuki isn't having a poor year by any means, especially when factoring in his four-week absence with an oblique injury, but he's also not standing out in any particular area. However, the third baseman is in the midst of a lengthy homer drought -- he's now gone 22 games since his last long ball and has just five home runs through 223 plate appearances this season. Still, the 28-year-old generated 23 swinging strikes in less than six innings and tied his season high in Ks. His only blemish was a solo homer by Michael Busch in the third inning.
