    • Swipes another bag Sunday
Carroll went 2-for-4 with a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Padres.

Advice: Carroll tallied his second multi-hit game as well as his second stolen base this month after nabbing second in the eighth. He now has six hits and has reached base a total of nine times over his last four games. The 23-year-old still has a poor season slash line of .204/.291/.290 with two homers, 20 RBI, 33 runs and a 28:52 BB:K in 278 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 7:22 am

    • Slugs ninth homer
Chisholm went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: The center fielder took Carlos Carrasco deep to lead off the fourth inning and get the Marlins on the board. Chisholm isn't making consistent contact, but he's on pace for career highs in the counting stats, and over the last 12 games he's slashing .250/.284/.469 with three of his nine homers and three of his 12 steals on the season. • Scores three runs in win
Duran went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 extra-inning win over the White Sox.

Advice: Duran, who had gone 14 days without a steal, posted a third straight game with a stolen base, including two Saturday. The outfielder has put himself in position to make an impact lately, going 11-for-33 with six walks (.425 OBP), four steals and 10 runs scored over the last eight contests. • Logs save No. 19
Holmes picked up the save Sunday against the Dodgers. He pitched a scoreless ninth but allowed two hits and struck out a batter.

Advice: Holmes quickly got the first two outs of the inning, but then ran into some trouble after allowing back-to-back base hits to bring Mookie Betts up to the plate. Holmes was able to get Betts to whiff on a slider to end the game and pick up his 19th save. Holmes is now tied with Emmanuel Clase for second in baseball in saves. He's been excellent this season, posting a 1.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 29:8 K:BB in 29.1 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 3:59 am
    • Swats home run Sunday
Cabrera went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Cabrera opened up the scoring with a solo home run off the right field foul pole in the third inning. It was his first home run since May 1 and his first extra-base hit since May 5. He started off the year cooking at the plate but has cooled off considerably and now finds himself in a depth role with the return of DJ LeMahieu to the lineup. For the year, Cabrera is slashing .238/.278/.360 with five homers, 22 RBI, 20 runs and a 10:33 BB:K in 176 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Today, 3:41 am

    • Crumbles in extra-inning loss
McArthur (2-3) allowed three runs (two earned) on two hits and two walks while striking out one over two-thirds of an inning to take the extra-inning loss versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: McArthur's tumultuous pitching continued after a brief three-inning scoreless streak to begin June. He got into trouble in the 10th inning Sunday, allowing an RBI single to Julio Rodriguez and a two-run single to Cal Raleigh. The Royals nearly overcame it with another comeback push, but that fell short. McArthur has given up multiple runs five times this season, with four of those outings coming since the start of May. He's at a 5.27 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 24:5 K:BB through 27.1 innings while adding 12 saves in 16 chances. While he's generally kept decent control, he's giving up too much contact to be reliable, though the same can be said for a majority of the Royals' relievers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:17 pm

    • Clay Holmes walks tightrope, but escapes with save
Clay Holmes walked the tightrope against the Dodgers in the ninth inning on Sunday, but managed to escape with a two-run lead intact to earn his 19th save of the season.

Advice: Holmes had no trouble getting the first two outs of the inning, but then he allowed singles to Gavin Lux and Enrique Hernandez to put the tying runs on base for Mookie Betts. He battled back though, getting Betts on a swinging third strike to close it out for the Yankees. The 31-year-old hurler has been outstanding this season, posting a 1.23 ERA and 29/8 K/BB ratio over 29 1/3 innings to go along with his 19 saves. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:56 pm
    • James McArthur gives up three runs to take loss
James McArthur took a loss to the Mariners on Sunday after allowing three runs — two earned — in the 10th inning.

Advice: It was his third appearance in four days. McArthur had been perfect in three outings since a disastrous May 31 outing in which he gave up four runs without retiring a batter to take a blown save. This pushes his ERA back up to 5.27, and the Royals are going to have start thinking about giving John Schreiber save chances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:22 pm

    • Alex Bregman (wrist) considered day-to-day
Astros’ manager Joe Espada told reporters after Sunday’s loss to the Angels that X-rays came back negative on the injured left wrist of Alex Bregman.

Advice: Bregman noted that while he got hit flush on his hand earlier in the week, the pitch that got him on Sunday was on his wrist instead. Fortunately, X-rays came back negative for any fractures and he’s considered day-to-day. Expect him to return to action early next week. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:57 pm
