      Arenado went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 11-4 loss to the Reds.

      Advice: Arenado cut the deficit to 5-2 with his third-inning blast, but the Cardinals weren't able to build off it. While he's battled a couple of arm injures recently, the third baseman has still put together a decent June. He's batting .260 with a .698 OPS this month, though just five of his 20 hits have gone for extra bases over the last 21 contests. Overall, Arenado is at seven homers, 34 RBI, 27 runs scored, one stolen base and a .258/.313/.378 slash line for the year. Rotowire.com Today, 10:53 am
       
    • Triples, swipes bag in win
      De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with an RBI triple, a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over St. Louis.

      Advice: De La Cruz kicked things off for Cincinnati with an RBI triple in the first to score Jonathan India. The star shortstop would then add another two singles in the contest, giving him his fifth three-hit performance this month, and third in his last six games. Over that latter stretch De La Cruz is batting .464 (13-for-28) with two homers, four RBI and seven runs scored.     • Arenado belts seventh home run in loss Thursday
      Nolan Arenado went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Reds on Thursday.



      Advice: Arenado’s home run was his seventh of the season. He’s struggled mightily this year with a .258 average and .691 OPS. Arenado finished third in the National League MVP voting just two years ago, but has hit .262 with 33 home runs and 127 RBI in 218 games since then.

    • Records quality start Thursday
      Imanaga allowed three runs on five hits across six innings but did not factor into the decision in Thursday's 5-3, 10-inning win over the Giants. He walked two and struck out three.

      Advice: This was a nice bounceback effort for Imanaga, who allowed 10 runs in his last outing against the surging Mets. The righty had a sparkling 1.89 ERA before that implosion, but he's still sitting with a solid 3.07 mark across his first 15 starts at the MLB level. While it was unlikely that Imanaga would continue his early-season dominance, he should still be a strong fantasy option moving forward.     • De La Cruz hits RBI triple, steals base in win
      Elly De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a run scored, a triple, an RBI and a stolen base against the Cardinals on Thursday.



      Advice: De La Cruz’s RBI triple off Miles Mikolas in the first inning started the scoring for Cincinnati. He later stole his 38th base of the season. De La Cruz is hitting .255 with an .815 OPS and 36 RBI on the year.

    • Shota Imanaga gets quality start against Giants
      Shota Imanaga allowed three runs in six innings of work in a no-decision against the Giants on Thursday.

      Advice: Imanaga allowed five hits while walking two and fanning three. It’s a marked improvement over his struggled against the Mets on Friday where he allowed 10 runs on 3 1/3 innings, but far from the excellence that we saw from the southpaw earlier in the year. It’s worth noting he threw five scoreless in this one, however, before a three-spot came across in the sixth. He still picks up a quality start while possessing a strong — if climbing — 3.07 ERA.       Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Thursday that Walker (finger) will not return before the All-Star break, Paul Casella of MLB.com reports.

      Advice: The team doesn't have a timetable to offer yet on Walker, who is dealing with right index finger inflammation, but it is not expecting him back before the end of the first half. With Spencer Turnbull (lat) joining Walker on the 15-day injured list, the Phillies' rotation depth is being tested. Filling the fifth spot for now will be Michael Mercado.       Anthony Santander will get a day off on Thursday with Colton Cowser starting in left field and batting eighth against the Rangers.
