    • Witt Jr. has three-hit game in win over Guardians
      Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a triple and an RBI against the Guardians on Sunday.

      Advice: Witt Jr. scored the first run of the game on Salvador Perez’ force out in the first inning. In the fifth inning, he drove in a run with a triple and scored on an RBI single off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. Witt Jr. is hitting .312 with an .897 OPS and 54 RBI on the season.       Jansen earned the save Sunday against San Diego, striking out one batter during a perfect ninth inning.

      Advice: Jansen was lights out Sunday, and he has now converted on 12 straight save chances. It was his seventh straight appearance without allowing a run. He's been fantastic as of late, with a 0.70 ERA over his last 12 appearances. The 36-year-old has converted on 16 of 17 save chances this season and will carry a 2.22 ERA and 1.02 WHIP into July.       Advice: Duran chased Matt Waldron from the game when he hit a knuckleball around the pesky pole in the fifth inning. For the third time this month, Duran has gone deep in back-to-back games. He now has six home runs in June after only hitting three over his first 61 games. Duran's tied with Bobby Witt for the fifth-best WAR in MLB this season at 4.3.     • Lynn tosses six scoreless, gets win against Reds
      Lance Lynn threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Cardinals’ 2-0 victory over the Reds on Sunday.



      Advice: Lynn gave up two hits, walked one and struck out six. He’s won consecutive starts for the first time this year. Lynn was excellent in shutting down the Reds and now has a 3.59 ERA on the season. The 37-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals on the road next weekend.

      Kenley Jansen notched his 16th save with a scoreless ninth Sunday against the Padres.

      Advice: Raleigh is much more renowned for his power than his speed, but he's now up to a career-high four stolen bases with Saturday's swipe. The slugging backstop has reached safely in seven straight games, a stretch during which he owns a .429 on-base percentage thanks in large part to a 25.0 percent walk rate.       Logan O’Hoppe slugged a game-tying solo shot on Saturday, leading the Angels to an eventual extra-inning victory over the Tigers.

      Advice: O’Hoppe’s eighth-inning blast -- his 12th round-tripper of the season -- came off Los Angeles reliever Logan Vest to open the frame. He finished 2-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in the extra-inning affair.
