• Won't play Sunday
Devers was removed from Saturday's 6-1 loss to the White Sox with left knee soreness and won't play in Sunday's series finale, Sean McAdam of MassLive.com reports. He went 0-for-2 with a walk before exiting.

Advice: Manager Alex Cora said postgame that Devers reported soreness in his left knee -- the same knee that forced Devers to miss nearly a week in late April -- which led to Devers' removal in the eighth inning. Cora will play it safe with the stud third baseman, giving him a day off Sunday. The Red Sox have a team off day Monday, so Devers' return to the lineup would come Tuesday against Philadelphia at the earliest. Rotowire.com Today, 6:14 pm

  • Drives in two, steals bag
Yelich went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Tigers.

Advice: He got the scoring started in this one, driving in Brice Turang with a single in the first inning. Yelich came up with the bases loaded in the third and drove in another run on a sacrifice fly. He later added an infield single and a stolen base in the fifth. The former MVP has six multi-hit games over his last 15 games and his hitting .362 over that stretch. He has six homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases through 38 games thus far. • Rafael Devers leaves game with sore knee Saturday
Rafael Devers was removed from Saturday’s battle against the White Sox due to soreness in his knee.

Advice: Red Sox’ manager Alex Cora told reporters after the game that, “His knee is bothering him.... hopefully it’s nothing worse than a little bit of soreness.” Devers said after the game that he won’t play on Sunday, but is hoping to return to action on Tuesday. For fantasy managers relying on him for next week, it’d be wise to have a contingency option in place in the event that Devers winds up missing a few games. Rotoworld Today, 4:35 pm

  • Christian Yelich plates two runs to lead Brewers
Christian Yelich went 2-for-4 and drove in a pair of runs on Saturday afternoon, propelling the Brewers to a 5-4 victory over the Tigers in Motown.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Casey Mize that plated Brice Turang in the first inning. He then drove in another run with a sacrifice fly in the fifth inning. Yelich also reached on an infield single in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but the Brewers couldn’t cash him in. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 32-year-old outfielder is now hitting .333/.414/.532 with six homers, 29 RBI and 10 stolen bases in what has been an impressive all-around season. • Falls to Nats
Morton (3-3) took the loss Saturday against Washington, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits over five innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The Nationals got to Morton early Saturday, scoring three runs in the first two innings. The 40-year-old Morton has had a tough time with Washington this year, yielding 12 earned runs over 10.2 innings in two starts against the Nats. His ERA now sits at 4.12 on the season with a 1.30 WHIP and 68:28 K:BB across 67.2 innings. Morton will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week at home versus Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com Today, 4:00 pm
  • Charlie Morton surrenders five runs in loss
Charlie Morton allowed five runs -- four earned -- with three strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Morton hit a batter and allowed a base hit to put two runners on in the first inning before Eddie Rosario drove in two runs with a double. The Nationals brought a run in to score on two hits in the second. A pair of doubles in the fourth inning made it four runs for the Nationals. Morton tossed one more inning, ending his day after five frames. The 40-year-old right-hander will carry a 4.12 ERA,, 1.30 WHIP, and a 68/28 K/BB ratio across 67 2/3 innings into a start against the Rays in Atlanta on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:40 pm
  • Sitting again Saturday
Naylor isn't in the Guardians' lineup for Saturday's game against Miami.

Advice: Slashing just .170/.247/.259 through 150 plate appearances, Naylor has begun to see his playing time take a significant hit recently. David Fry, who has had one of the hottest bats in baseball, will pick up another start behind the plate while Kyle Manzardo serves as Cleveland's DH. Rotowire.com Today, 3:01 pm

  • Back in lineup
Kelenic (wrist) is starting in left field and batting ninth Saturday versus the Nationals.

Advice: Kelenic missed Atlanta's last two games after injuring his wrist on a diving catch Wednesday, but it no longer seems to be an issue. The 24-year-old outfielder has gone 10-for-31 (.323) with three RBI and five runs scored over his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Today, 11:34 am

  • Luis Robert Jr. gets day off Saturday vs. Red Sox
Luis Robert Jr. is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Red Sox.

Advice: It appears to be a routine maintenance day for Robert, who has started four consecutive games for the White Sox since returning earlier this week from a lengthy stay on the injured list. There’s no reason for Chicago to push it from a health standpoint following an extended layoff, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Robert get some extra days off over the next few weeks to keep him fresh.
