    Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jays.

    Advice: Ramirez put the Guardians ahead for good with a third-inning blast, which was his first extra-base hit since June 9. He's gone 8-for-33 (.242) over his last eight games, but he's made up for the quieter bat by adding four stolen bases in that span.   • Jazz Chisholm Jr. leaves game with tight biceps
    Jazz Chisholm Jr. was removed from Saturday’s game against the Mariners due to tightness in his right biceps.

    Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder had been 1-for-2 with a single and a strikeout when Vidal Brujan surprisingly hit for him in the sixth inning. The severity of the injury is not yet known, so be sure to check his status on Sunday.   • Pivetta allows three in no-decision against Reds
    Nick Pivetta allowed three runs in 4 1/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday.

    Advice: Pivetta gave up six hits, walked one and struck out five. He was on the hook for the loss before a late comeback by the Red Sox offense. It was another pedestrian start from Pivetta that might be becoming a trend. In his first eight starts of the year, he had 51 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings. In his last three starts, he’s had just 13 strikeouts in 15 1/3 innings. The 31-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home next weekend.

    MLB.com’s Brian McTaggart reports Kyle Tucker (shin) has yet to resume baseball activities.

    Advice: Tucker is still walking with a limp and has yet to resume any baseball activities at this juncture. There was some optimism earlier this week that he was getting close, but clearly is still going to need some extra time to recover. There isn’t a definitive timeline for his return to Houston’s lineup at this point. He’s been out since early June recovering from a shin contusion. It’s fair to wonder if he’s dealing with something more serious like a hairline fracture at this point. There should be some clarity on his status at some point in the near future.     Advice: O'Neill will hit the bench after going 0-for-7 with two walks over the Red Sox's previous two contests, but he's been excellent overall since making his return from a three-game absence due to a knee issue earlier this month, slashing .273/.342/.697 since June 12. Even though he finds himself as the odd man out of the Boston outfield Saturday while the team brings Wilyer Abreu (ankle) back from the injured list, O'Neill should continue to handle a near-everyday role for the Red Sox.     The Athletic’s Katie Woo reports Willson Contreras (forearm) could return as early as Monday’s series opener against the Braves.

    Advice: Contreras is slated to get into a pair of rehab contests this weekend for Triple-A Memphis with the aim of returning early next week. The 32-year-old backstop has been on the shelf since undergoing surgery back in early May to repair a fractured left forearm.
