      Zack Littel allowed four earned runs, struck out three and picked up the no-decision in the Rays’ 7-5 victory over the Red Sox on Thursday.



      Advice: Littel was a member of the Red Sox for about a week last season before the Rays claimed him off waivers and turned him into a starting pitcher. He completed five innings and left the game with a 5-4 lead, but the bullpen couldn’t hold that lead. He has a 3.44 ERA on the season. Littel is set to face the Red Sox again at home in his next start.

      De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 2-0 win over the Tigers.

      Advice: De La Cruz crushed a two-run, 422-foot homer off Casey Mize in the first inning Wednesday for the only runs scored in the Marlins' shutout victory. De La Cruz has gone just 4-for-24 in his last six games, though he's already up to nine home runs on the season, nearly halfway to the career-high 19 he hit last year. On a less positive note, Devers has struck out at least once in 12 straight games, and his 24.1 percent strikeout rate is on pace to be his worst mark since the abbreviated 2020 campaign.
