    • Christian Walker homers twice in win over Dodgers
Christian Walker went 4-for-5 with two home runs, three runs scored, and four RBI in a 12-4 win over the Dodgers on Wednesday.

Advice: After drawing a walk in the first inning, Walker knocked a base hit in the third for his second hit. He followed with a solo homer in the fourth, his second in as many days against the Dodgers. Walker added a double in the sixth and scored on a home run by Lourdes Gurriel Jr. before blasting his second homer of the game with a three-run shot in the ninth. The 33-year-old slugger is hitting .267/.339/.506 with 20 homers and 59 RBI across 369 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:40 pm
    • Christian Yelich homers in win over Rockies
Christian Yelich went 2-for-3 with a solo homer and a walk to power the Brewers to a 3-0 win over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Yelich put the Brewers on the board early with a solo homer off Dakota Hudson in the first inning. He added a double in the third, then drew a walk in the fifth. The 32-year-old outfielder is in the middle of his best season since 2019, slashing .333/.408/.519 with nine homers, 37 runs scored, 37 RBI, and 19 steals across 263 plate appearances. • Austin Riley hits key two-run double
Austin Riley went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI, and run scored against the Giants on Wednesday.

Advice: Riley’s fifth inning double off Jordan Hicks proved to be a decisive blow in this one. All in all, he had three batted balls hit at least 98.5 MPH and has pulled his OPS all the way up to .760 on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:59 pm

    • Progress picking up
Tucker (shin) has seen his recovery pick up in recent days and is planning to do on-field work during the team's series at Toronto, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada suggested that Tucker "turned a corner" in his recovery, citing the quality of swings Tucker was taking in the batting cage Monday. His recovery has gone far slower than expected, and he'll still likely need a rehab assignment before being activated. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:17 am

    • Swats homer No. 10
Riley went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Giants.

Advice: The third baseman took Hayden Birdsong deep in the second inning to open the scoring on the night. Riley's bat has woken up in a big way over the last few weeks -- since June 14, he's slashing .356/.441/.780 in 68 plate appearances with seven of his 10 homers on the year and 12 of his 32 RBI. • Falls apart late
Berrios (8-6) picked up the win Tuesday against Houston, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with one strikeout across five innings. He also hit a batter.

Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard until the fifth inning, where he unwound and allowed three singles, a hit-by-pitch and a three-run home run. Still, Berrios was able to snare a second straight win as the Blue Jays had compiled seven runs prior to the fifth. The 30-year-old has been shaky as of late, owning a 5.97 ERA with 17 strikeouts and eight home runs allowed over his last five starts. He's scheduled to face the Mariners on Sunday. • Goes yard in loss
Walker went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 6-5 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Walker has an extra-base hit in four of his last six games, though this was his first homer since June 20. The first baseman is up to 18 long balls on the year, with six of them coming over his last 18 games. He's added a .259/.331/.480 slash line with 55 RBI, 50 runs scored and two stolen bases over 85 contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:30 pm
    • Bobby Miller strikes out four in no-decision
Bobby Miller pitched decently in a no-decision against the Diamondbacks on Tuesday evening, allowing two runs on four hits over his five innings of work.

Advice: The 25-year-old right-hander punched out four batters on the night while issuing three free passes. All of the damage done against him came on one mighty swing of the bat by Christian Walker in the fourth inning. Miller generated 10 swings and misses on 90 pitches on the night — seven of those on his heater which averaged 96.5 mph — while posting a CSW of 23 percent. Miller now sports a 6.12 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and a 25/15 K/BB ratio over 25 innings through his first six starts on the season. He’ll look to get back in the win column when he squares off against the Brewers at home on Sunday. Rotoworld Tuesday, 11:06 pm

    • Christian Walker goes deep in loss to Dodgers
Christian Walker went 2-for-5 and slugged a two-run homer on Tuesday night as the Diamondbacks fell to the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Advice: The 33-year-old slugger evened the score at 2-2 when he clobbered a 402-foot (107.1 mph EV) two-run shot off of Bobby Miller in the fourth inning. He also added a two-out single off of Alex Vesia in the seventh inning. Walker is enjoying another strong season in the middle of the Diamondbacks’ lineup, slashing .259/.331/.480 with 18 homers, 55 RBI and two stolen bases (in four attempts). Rotoworld Tuesday, 11:01 pm
