• Rejoins major-league roster
The Nationals recalled Adams from Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.

Advice: Adams was optioned a month ago following a slump at the plate, but he's back after posting a .946 OPS with six homers in 22 games at Rochester. He will back up Keibert Ruiz. Rotowire.com Today, 12:26 pm

  • Homers in Tuesday's win
Wade went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: Wade has gone 3-for-13 (.231) with two walks over three games since he returned from missing a month with a hamstring injury. The 30-year-old had been hitting atop the order prior to the injury, but the Giants have had him in the No. 2 spot with Jorge Soler at leadoff recently. Wade has just three homers over 55 games this year, but he's maintained a .324/.459/.437 slash line with 18 RBI, 24 runs scored and a stolen base. His 19.8 percent walk rate has helped to keep his ratios strong even if he's lacking in counting stats. Rotowire.com Today, 9:41 am

  • Royce Lewis (groin) heading for MRI on Wednesday
Royce Lewis will undergo an MRI on Wednesday after being removed from Tuesday’s game with left groin tightness.

Advice: Lewis expressed concern to reporters afterwards that he’ll wind up back on the injured list since the Twins don’t want to take any chances with his long-term health. “I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you,” said Lewis. “I’m praying, but it’s usually always horrible news. So we’ll see.” All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best. There should be an official update on his status prior to Wednesday’s game. It’ll likely be top prospect Brooks Lee, who boasts a stratospheric 1.029 OPS with seven homers in 20 games this season for Triple-A St. Paul, coming up to take his spot at the hot corner, if he winds up requiring a trip to the injured list. • Set for MRI on groin injury
Lewis is set to undergo an MRI and additional testing for the left groin injury he suffered in Tuesday's win over Detroit, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. "This is out of my control," Lewis said. "So what I can control, I'm very happy about, but this is out of my control. I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you. I'm praying, but it's usually always horrible news. So we'll see."

Advice: Lewis suffered the injury after legging out a double in the third inning and played two more innings in the field before departing. It sounds like Lewis may be headed for an injured list stint based on his comments, but more will known after the MRI. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:14 pm

  • Nursing head injury
Bader said after Tuesday's win over Washington that he was removed from the game after hitting his head/neck on the outfield wall, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Bader ran into the outfield wall while trying to make a catch during the third inning and had to be taken out of the game shortly afterward. He cleared all medical tests following the incident and said he's hopeful to return to action Wednesday. The 30-year-old entered Tuesday's contest slashing .265/.306/.529 with two home runs over his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:30 pm

  • Nimmo has two hits, two RBI off bench
Brandon Nimmo went 2-for-3 with two RBIs after coming off the bench in a win over the Nationals on Tuesday.

Advice: Nimmo didn’t start the game after nursing a head injury when he fell in his hotel room on Sunday night and cut his head. However, he certainly seems to be healthy, knocking in a run on a single in the eighth to tie the game and then giving the Mets a two-run cushion in the 10th inning with an RBI double. Over the last six weeks, Nimmo is hitting .283/.377/.496 with six home runs, 27 runs scored, 21 RBI, and three steals in 33 games. He remains underrated in fantasy baseball. • Exits with groin tightness
Lewis was removed from Tuesday's game versus the Tigers due to left groin tightness, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

Advice: It's unclear exactly when Lewis suffered the injury, though it's possible he may have tweaked his groin running out of the batter's box during his last at-bat in the third inning. The Twins are considering him day-to-day, so there's a chance he was simply removed as a precaution given his injury history. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:12 pm

  • Royce Lewis exits game with groin tightness
Royce Lewis was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Tigers with left groin tightness.

Advice: Here we go again. The Twins are calling Lewis day-to-day following his early exit from Tuesday’s series opener against the Tigers, so it’s possible his removal was merely out of an abundance of caution. We’ll see. The injury-plagued 25-year-old burgeoning fantasy star was 1-for-2 with a two-run double off Tigers ace Tarik Skubal prior to leaving the contest. There should be some clarity on his status prior to Wednesday’s showdown. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:59 pm

  • Harrison Bader makes precautionary exit Tuesday
Harrison Bader was removed from Tuesday’s game against the Nationals for precautionary reasons after an awkward collision with the right-center field wall.

Advice: The Mets declined to cite a specific reason for Bader’s removal from the contest. However, MLB.com’s Anthony DiComo notes that his left arm hit the right-center field wall awkwardly during that third-inning collision and he appeared pretty shaken up afterwards. It’s possible he’ll be evaluated for a concussion as well just to be safe. There should be some sort of update on his status following the contest. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:08 pm
