      Kenley Jansen closed out the Yankees on Sunday night, working a scoreless ninth inning to preserve a three-run advantage.

      Advice: The 36-year-old hurler picked up his 18th save of the season for his troubles. He made quick work of the Yankees in this one, getting Ben Rice on a ground ball to first, Juan Soto on a liner to left and Aaron Judge on a swinging third strike to end it. Jansen has been as reliable as ever this season, converting 18 of his first 19 save chances while posting a 2.01 ERA over 31 1/3 innings of work. Rotoworld Today, 6:33 pm
       
    • Jose Berrios punches out 10 in no-decision
      Jose Berrios piled up 10 strikeouts over six innings of four-run baseball in a no-decision against the Mariners on Sunday afternoon in Seattle.

      Advice: Overall, Berrios scattered seven hits on the afternoon while issuing one base on balls. All of the damage done against him came via the long ball, with Victor Robles launching a solo homer in the third inning and Mitch Garver crushing a three-run shot in the fifth. Berrios got 13 whiffs on 98 pitches in the ballgame, posting a CSW of 31 percent. He now holds a 3.76 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and an 87/29 K/BB ratio over 115 innings through his first 19 starts on the season.     • Provides offense in loss
      Caballero went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 13-2 loss to the Rangers.

      Advice: Caballero's homer briefly gave the Rays a 2-1 lead in the third inning before the Rangers scored nine runs over the next two frames. The utility infielder isn't known for his power, but he has two homers over his last five games. For the year, he's slashing .241/.301/.369 with six homers, 24 RBI, 38 runs scored and 24 stolen bases across 274 plate appearances.     • Gets walked off Sunday
      Hader (3-5) took the loss Sunday against the Twins, allowing a solo home run without recording an out.

      Advice: Hader entered with the game tied at 2-2 in the bottom of the ninth. He served up a solo shot to Christian Vazquez, which gave the Twins the walk-off win. This is the fourth time in six outings that Hader has given up a run -- all of which have been on homers -- though he hasn't taken a blown save since April 2. He's at a 4.15 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 61:11 K:BB through 39 innings while converting 15 of 16 save chances this season. Since his missteps have rarely resulted in trouble so far, Hader's security as the Astros' closer remains high, but his recent struggles with the long ball are reminiscent of his awful second half of 2022, which is at least worth keeping an eye on for fantasy purposes.       Diaz (3-1) got the win during Sunday's 3-2 victory over the Pirates but also blew the save. He did not allow a run on one hit, one walk and one strikeout over 1.1 innings.

      Advice: With the Mets leading 1-0, Diaz entered the game with two outs in the eighth and allowed a walk and the go-ahead hit. After Francisco Lindor gave his team the lead, Diaz came back out and pitched a clean ninth to pick up his third win. The 30-year-old returned from his 10-game suspension on Saturday, and he picked up the save.     • José Caballero homers in loss
      José Caballero went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Rangers on Sunday.

      Advice: Caballero took Nathan Eovaldi deep for a two-run hot, accounting for the only runs the Rays would score on the day. The 27-year-old now has six home runs and 24 RBI on the season, but his fantasy value comes courtesy of his 24 stolen bases.     • Edwin Díaz blows save, earns win against Pirates
      Edwin Díaz worked 1 1/3 innings on Sunday against the Pirates. He allowed one hit, one walk, struck out one batter, blew the save, and wound up with the win.

      Advice: Back from suspension, Díaz was tasked with a four-out save pitching on back-to-back days. He walked the first batter he saw and allowed both of his inherited runners to score. Then, the Mets grabbed the lead and he came back out to pitch a scoreless ninth inning. Díaz clearly isn’t the same pitcher he was in 2022, but the Mets have absolute trust in him as their closer.     • Josh Hader blows save, takes 5th loss of season
      Josh Hader allowed one run on one hit without recording an out in a loss to the Twins on Sunday.

      Advice: Hader was brought into a tie game and allowed a game-winning home run to Christian Vazquez. Hader now has a 4.15 ERA to go along with 15 saves on the season. It’s unlikely that Houston will give him competition for the closer’s role, but it hasn’t been a great first season in Houston for the left-hander who now has two blown saves and five losses on the year.     • Picks up seventh win
      Lopez (7-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing no runs on two hits and three walks over six innings against the Phillies. He struck out six.

      Advice: Lopez dominated once again with his sixth start of the season with five or more innings and zero runs allowed, tying him with Tarik Skubal for the most such appearances in MLB. Lopez lowered his ERA to an MLB-leading 1.71 in the process. It's tied for the fifth-lowest by an Atlanta player in his first 16 starts of a season since 1912 and the lowest since Tom Glavine in 2002. The 30-year-old is already up to 89.2 innings this season, which is his most since 2019, so his workload will be something to monitor in the second half of the season. Rotowire.com Today, 1:19 pm
