He has zero home runs in June and has just five RBI now that he has moved back up in the lineup for the Diamondbacks. You’re certainly not mad at his stats this month, but there shouldn’t be an expectation that the power will reemerge.       Advice: Carroll has finally heated up at the dish in reaching base 25 times while adding four stolen bases over his last 12 contests. He'll get some rest Thursday, however, as the Nationals send tough left-hander MacKenzie Gore to the hill. Additionally, Carroll recently overcame a left side injury, so the Diamondbacks were presumably keen on giving him some maintenance. Jake McCarthy will play center field in Thursday's series finale.       Advice: Carroll had been dropped to the lower third of the order against left-handers a couple of weeks ago, but he was moved back to the top third Wednesday.       Even though the team is facing left-hander Tarik Skubal, Jarred Kelenic remains in the leadoff spot for the Braves on Wednesday.

      Advice: For better or worse, Brian Snitker loves his set lineups. Kelenic has a .231 OBP in just 26 plate appearances versus lefties this season. He’s hit .193/.253/.307 lifetime against lefties, and it’s safe to say he hasn’t faced many as good as Skubal. Still, this rates as good news for Kelenic’s fantasy value, and he’s worth playing in mixed leagues for as long as he remains in the leadoff spot. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:00 am
       
    • Breaks out of slump
      Lowe went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an RBI single during Tuesday's 7-6 loss to the Twins.

      Advice: Lowe has been slow to reacclimate at the plate following his IL stint in late May, entering Tuesday's game 2-for-24 with 12 strikeouts since being activated June 5. However, he showed signs of life against the Twins, launching his third home run of the season and generating his third multi-hit game in 24 appearances. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:28 am
