    • Dylan Cease tagged for five runs by Braves
Dylan Cease lasted only four innings against the Braves in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader, giving up five runs in a no-decision.

Advice: Cease came into this one having given up four runs, nine hits and three walks in three starts this month. Today, he allowed five runs, nine hits and three walks in four innings. He also surrendered his fourth and fifth homers of the year. Chalk it up to a bad day against a talented lineup. The Padres wound up letting him off the hook in the eighth, so he remains 5-3 with a 3.05 ERA. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm
    • Robert Suarez now 13-for-13 saving games
Robert Suarez pitched a perfect ninth with a one-run lead for a save against the Braves in the first game of Monday’s doubleheader.

Advice: It’s Suarez’s 16th straight scoreless appearances. He had been stuck on 12 saves for the last 12 days, but even so, he’s tied for first in the majors in that category. Rotoworld Today, 1:38 pm
    • Wins after blown save
Clase (3-1) allowed an unearned run and struck out one batter in one inning of work Sunday against the Twins. He was charged with a blown save but earned the win.

Advice: Clase gave up the game-tying run on an error in the ninth inning but Cleveland walked it off in the bottom half of the frame. It was his first blown save since April 16 and he's now 13 for 16 in save chances this season. He's fired 16.1 straight innings without allowing an earned run, dropping his season ERA to 0.39 with a 24:2 K:BB. Rotowire.com Today, 7:03 am
    • Has ankle injury
Steer is dealing with a sore ankle, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Steer was held out of the starting lineup Sunday as a result of the ankle but served as a pinch hitter. He walked for Will Benson with the bases loaded in the seventh inning and was removed for a pinch runner. Cincinnati manager David Bell said Steer should be back to 100 percent for Tuesday's series opener at home against the Padres. Rotowire.com Today, 5:11 am

    • Triples in two straight
Carroll went 1-for-4 with a triple, a walk and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Detroit. He was also caught stealing.

Advice: Carroll tripled to lead off the bottom of the first inning and scored the first of two Arizona runs during the frame. It was the second straight game with a triple for Carroll, who finished second in MLB last season with 10 three-baggers. He was moved back to leadoff seven games ago, but it hasn't done much to break Carroll's season-opening slump; he's 4-for-24 with three extra-base hits, five runs and has been caught stealing twice. • Dominates Atlanta for win
Darvish (4-1) got the win over Atlanta on Sunday night, throwing seven shutout innings while allowing just two hits and a walk. He struck out nine.

Advice: Darvish continued his excellent run since returning from the injured list April 30 and is now up to 25 straight scoreless innings, having last given up a run April 14. He had one instance with facing runners in scoring position after a first inning double by Marcell Ozuna. He ended his night by retiring the last 13 batters he faced in order and generated a season-high nine strikeouts while getting 14 whiffs on 99 pitches. Darvish also picked up career win No. 200 and will take an excellent 2.08 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and 46:13 K:BB into his next start, which lines up to be against the Yankees during a weekend series. • Three-hit day
Cowser went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and two runs scored Sunday against the Mariners.

Advice: Cowser beat out a two-out infield single in the first to secure the second run of the game for the Orioles. He later added a double and a single, eventually coming around to score after both during an impressive three-hit day. It was the second three-hit game for Cowser this season, with the first taking place April 11. He's now slashing .277/.371/.521 through 140 plate appearances with six homers, 23 RBI, 16 runs and three steals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:24 pm

    • Inefficient against Phillies
Williams didn't factor into the decision Sunday, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk over 4.1 innings against Philadelphia. He struck out three.

Advice: Williams was pulled at 97 pitches midway through the fourth but was able to keep one of baseball's best offenses in check. He yielded just one extra-base hit and the final run charged against him came after his departure, when Jacob Barnes allowed a walk, a single and a sacrifice fly to the first three batters he faced. After posting a 5.55 ERA last season, Williams boasts a 2.35 ERA and a 1.09 WHIP across 46.0 innings with a 4-0 record. He's scheduled to face the Mariners during a three-game home series next weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:32 pm
    • Yu Darvish strikes out nine in victory over Braves
Yu Darvish delivered a dominant performance in Sunday night’s victory over the Braves, piling up nine strikeouts over seven innings of scoreless baseball.

Advice: The 37-year-old right-hander gave up just two hits on the evening while allowing one base on balls. Only once did the Braves put a man in scoring position against him, and that was on Marcell Ozuna’s two-out double in the opening inning. He finished his night by retiring the final 13 hitters that he faced in order. Darvish got 14 swings and misses on 99 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 34 percent. He now boasts a 2.08 ERA, 0.90 WHIP and a 46/13 K/BB ratio over 47 2/3 innings through his first nine starts on the season. He’ll look to keep the good times rolling when he does battle against the Yankees on Friday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:05 pm
