    • Max Fried strikes out 13 in win over Boston
Max Fried allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Fried also struck out 13 on the day while walking just one. He did give up a home run to Dominic Smith, but it was the only extra-base hit he allowed in the game. He got 21 whiffs on 50 swings for an impressive 42 percent whiff rate and 40 percent CSW. This Red Sox lineup is clearly short-handed due to injuries, but Fried was masterful on Tuesday and now has a 2.93 ERA on the year. He should be in line for another good start against the Nationals this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 7:25 pm

    • Career day against BoSox
Fried (6-2) picked up the win Tuesday against Boston, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits and a walk across seven innings. He struck out 13.

Advice: Fried fanned a career-high 13 batters Tuesday, surpassing 10 Ks for the first time since 2019. The southpaw yielded his first long ball in five starts, as lefty-hitting Dominic Smith launched a solo homer in the third inning. Fried has logged a quality start in six of his last eight appearances, a stretch in which he owns a 1.57 ERA and a 55:13 K:BB over 57.1 innings. He's scheduled to face the Nationals in Washington on Sunday. Rotowire.com Today, 7:07 pm

    • Ryan Pepiot has quality start in win
Ryan Pepiot allowed three runs on six hits in six innings in a win over the Marlins on Tuesday.

Advice: Pepiot struck out eight and walked none and now has 15 strikeouts over 11 2/3 innings over his last two starts. The 26-year-old earned 13 whiffs on his four-seam fastball and 17 whiffs overall on 52 swings for a 33 percent whiff rate and 29 percent CSW. His first season in Tampa Bay has been a success thanks in part to better fastball usage up in the zone. He’ll carry a 3.96 ERA into a tough start against the Orioles next week. • Rutschman doubles, drives in two vs. Jays
Adley Rutschman went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Rutschman drove in the Orioles’ first run of the night in the third inning on an RBI single to plate Colton Cowser and later doubled to drive in Gunnar Henderson in the fifth inning. Rutschman continues to hit at a high rate and now has an eight-game hit streak that includes seven RBI over that span. Rotoworld Today, 6:56 pm

    • Clase notches 19th save in win over Royals
Emmanuel Clase threw a scoreless ninth inning to close out an 8-5 win over the Royals on Tuesday.

Advice: Clase struck out two and walked one en route to his 19th save of the season. The right-hander has a minuscule 0.30 ERA and has been the best closer in fantasy baseball this season, earning tons of draft-day value for whoever took him in their leagues. Rotoworld Today, 6:21 pm
    • Absent from Tuesday's lineup
Carroll is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants.

Advice: One day after being moved down to the No. 8 spot in the Diamondbacks' batting order, Carroll is now out of the lineup altogether. Both games have come versus left-handers. Carroll is hitting a woeful .192/.280/.281 during his massively disappointing 2024 campaign. Jake McCarthy is in center field Tuesday. Rotowire.com Today, 1:51 pm
    • Corbin Carroll not in lineup Tuesday vs. southpaw
Corbin Carroll is absent from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Giants.

Advice: Carroll was dropped to the eighth spot in Arizona’s lineup earlier this week for the first time this season and will take a seat on Tuesday evening for the first time since May 15 with lefty Kyle Harrison toeing the rubber for San Francisco in this one. The 23-year-old has struggled to a calamitous .561 OPS with two homers and nine steals through 58 games. Rotoworld Today, 1:50 pm
    • On bench vs. southpaw
Lowe is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins.

Advice: Lowe was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday after missing time with an oblique issue, but he's not in the lineup for his first game back since lefty Jesus Luzardo is starting for Miami. Randy Arozarena, Jose Siri and Jonny DeLuca will start across the outfield while Harold Ramirez serves as the designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 1:27 pm

    • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Caballero is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game at Miami.

Advice: Caballero started the past four games but will head to the bench Tuesday after he went 4-for-15 with a homer, two RBI, five runs and a stolen base during that stretch. Amed Rosario will take over at shortstop and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 12:59 pm
