    • Drills 11th home run
Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to Kansas City.

Advice: Rooker belted a three-run shot in the ninth inning, but it wasn't enough for the Athletics to mount a late comeback. It was his first homer since May 12, though six of his 11 long balls this year have come in May. Rooker is following up his 30-homer breakout season nicely, posting a .281/.358/.578 slash line with 18 extra-base hits and 32 RBI through 151 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:51 pm

    • Adolis Garcia (forearm) undergoes MRI on Sunday
Adolis Garcia underwent an MRI exam on his injured right forearm on Sunday which came back clean for any structural damage.

Advice: The 31-year-old slugger was scratched from the Angels’ lineup on Sunday due to a right forearm issue. It looks like he avoided anything serious though and Rangers’ skipper Bruce Bochy told reporters that he expects Garcia to return to the team’s starting lineup on Tuesday. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:47 pm
    • Imaging comes back clean
Garcia (forearm) underwent imaging on his forearm Sunday, which came back clean according to manager Bruce Bochy, Jeff Wilson of RangersToday.com reports.

Advice: Garcia was scratched from the lineup ahead of Sunday's series finale with the Angels due to right forearm discomfort, but he appears to have avoided any sort of significant injury. The team has an off day Monday, so the outfielder's next opportunity to return to the lineup will come Tuesday on the road versus the Phillies. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:43 pm
    • Brent Rooker hits three-run homer in loss
Brent Rooker went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run on Sunday in a loss to the Royals.

Advice: Rooker’s homer was his 11th of the season and he scalded this one at 111.7 MPH off the bat. There’s still a lot of swing and miss in his game, but a barrel rate right around 15% and hitting third in the surging A’s lineup has turned him into one of the best run producers in the league early this season. • Jake Meyers has three hits in win over Brewers
Jake Meyers went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in a win over the Brewers on Sunday.

Advice: Meyers has been solid since coming back from injury and is now slashing .302/.368/.522 on the season. Even with Chas McCormick coming off the IL soon, there’s no guarantee that Meyers will be pushed to the bench. He plays good defense in center field and has been performing better than McCormick so far in the young season. The outfield could be a bit of a logjam in the future for the Astros. • Scratched due forearm issue
Garcia was scratched from the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels due to a right forearm injury, and he's scheduled to undergo an MRI, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: The 31-year-old suffered the injury Saturday in a collision with Marcus Semien and will be sidelined for at least one game. There's optimism Garcia will be available following Monday's team off day, and his status should be updated after the MRI. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:22 am
    • García scratched from lineup with forearm issue
Adolis García has been scratched from Sunday’s lineup against the Angels due to a right forearm issue.

Advice: García was originally listed as the starting designated hitter, but he’ll now be out Sunday with Robbie Grossman taking his place. The outfielder is undergoing imaging, but the hope is that he’ll get Sunday off and be able to return to the lineup Tuesday after the Rangers’ off-day. Rotoworld Sunday, 9:09 am
    • Collects three hits in loss
Meyers went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Meyers was the only Astro with multiple hits in the contest, and his fifth-inning solo homer plated one of the team's two runs. The outfielder has gone deep in back-to-back games and has gone 6-for-10 with four RBI over his past three contests. Meyers hit a career-high 10 long balls last season and is already halfway to that mark with five homers through 102 plate appearances this year. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:09 pm

    • Clubs homer Saturday
Garcia went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 3-2 extra-innings win over the Angels.

Advice: This was Garcia's third homer in his last four games and his 11th long ball of the campaign. The outfielder is hitting just .190 (8-for-42) over his last 10 contests, but five of his hits in that span have gone for extra bases. He's slashing .251/.297/.491 with 35 RBI, 24 runs scored, four stolen bases and nine doubles through 46 games as the Rangers' usual cleanup hitter. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:50 pm
