Steer went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to Boston on Saturday.
Advice: Steer gave the Reds an early lead with his two-run shot to left field in the first inning. It was his ninth long ball of the season and his third through 19 contests in June. Steer is slashing .234/.326/.401 with 45 RBI, 33 runs and 12 stolen bases on the campaign. Rotowire.comSaturday, 11:09 pm
Jazz Chisholm Jr. was removed from Saturday’s game against the Mariners due to tightness in his right biceps.
Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder had been 1-for-2 with a single and a strikeout when Vidal Brujan surprisingly hit for him in the sixth inning. The severity of the injury is not yet known, so be sure to check his status on Sunday. It may be wise for fantasy managers to have a contingency plan in place for next week in the event that Chisholm requires a trip to the injured list. RotoworldSaturday, 5:12 pm
Jazz Chisholm Jr. (hamstring) is in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Mariners.
Advice: Chisholm is back in center field for the second straight contest after being scratched earlier this week due to right hamstring tightness. It doesn’t look like it’s going to be an issue going forward, but fantasy managers should continue to keep a close eye on his status in the coming days. RotoworldSaturday, 9:41 am
Kelenic went 2-for-5 with a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's win over the Yankees.
Advice: He extended his hitting streak to eight games with another strong performance. Over 16 games in June, Kelenic is slashing .288/.333/.492 with three doubles, three homers, two steals, seven runs and seven RBI, and the 24-year-old has provided a spark for Atlanta since moving into the leadoff spot. Lowe went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in Friday's 10-3 win over the Pirates.
Advice: The 26-year-old outfielder touched up Luis Ortiz for both his long balls, hooking a third-inning slider out to right field for a solo shot before lofting a fastball to left-center in the sixth for a three-run blast. Lowe has five homers on the season in 27 games, with three of them coming in the last four contests. If he can stay healthy, he seems poised for a big surge heading into the All-Star break. Carroll went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 win over the Phillies. He was also hit by a pitch.
Advice: Carroll walked and stole a base ahead of Gabriel Moreno's home run in the third inning. The stolen base was Carroll's team-leading 14th, which is tied for 20th in MLB. As Carroll's reached base more frequently in the last two weeks, he's picked up his running pace. He's gotten on base at a .443 clip over the last 14 games and has attempted six steals during that stretch. Rotowire.comSaturday, 4:40 am
Josh Lowe went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in a 10-3 win for the Rays over the Pirates.
Advice: Lowe took righty Luis Ortiz deep twice and vaulted the Rays to a victory in Pittsburgh. Injuries have stalled what was hoped to be a big breakout season for the young left-hander as he only just reached 100 plate appearances after this game. There’s plenty of time for his ugly slash line to improve and his 16.4% Barrel Rate is by far the best mark he’s ever shown. RotoworldFriday, 6:32 pm
Cowser is not in the lineup for Friday's contest in Houston.
Advice: It marks two straight games that he's been absent from the lineup, and both of them have come against right-handed pitching. After putting up a 1.004 OPS in April, Cowser has just a .603 OPS since May 1. Ryan O'Hearn is in left field and Cedric Mullins is in center Friday. Rotowire.comFriday, 1:16 pm
Chisholm (hamstring) will start in center field and bat leadoff in Friday's game against the Mariners.
Advice: Chisholm was a late scratch from Wednesday's lineup due to a tight right hamstring, but it will be just a one-game absence, as he's feeling well enough to give it a go for the Marlins after Thursday's off day. He enters play Friday having slashed .394/.447/.636 over his last 10 games. Rotowire.comFriday, 12:15 pm
