    • Back in White Sox lineup Tuesday
Robert (hip) will be activated from the 10-day injured list and in the White Sox' lineup for Tuesday's game versus the Cubs, Daryl Van Schouwen reports.

Advice: Robert has been sidelined since early April with a Grade 2 right hip flexor strain but is ready to roll after he went 3-for-27 with two home runs over eight rehab games. While Robert is in the lineup Tuesday, manager Pedro Grifol previously has noted that his center fielder will be given extra off days initially as he eases back into action. • Yields three home runs
Gausman (4-4) took the loss Monday against Baltimore, allowing six earned runs on six hits and one walk in 6.1 innings. He struck out three.

Advice: Gausman gave up three home runs Monday after allowing just two over his past nine starts. The 33-year-old had notched three-consecutive quality starts prior to Monday's setback, but he has been unable to find his footing this season. Through 60.2 innings, Gasuman holds a 4.60 ERA and a 1.34 WHIP, both of which are his worst since 2019. The right-hander will look to rebound in his next start, tentatively scheduled for this weekend in Oakland. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:28 pm

    • Strikes out six in no-decision
Skubal did not factor into the decision in Monday's 2-1 win over the Rangers, allowing one run on seven hits and two walks with six strikeouts over six innings.

Advice: Skubal surrendered a leadoff home run to Marcus Semien in the first inning but held the Rangers in check over the next five and left the mound in a 1-1 tie. Skubal allowed at least one baserunner in each inning, but he was still able to earn a quality start despite not having his best stuff. Through 12 starts, Skubal, who has not walked more than two batters in any game this season, has posted a sparkling 1.97 ERA, 0.88 WHIP and 86:13 K:BB and tentatively lines up for a home matchup against the Brewers on Sunday. • Homers, swipes bag
Hoskins went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base in Monday's 3-1 loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Hoskins' seventh-inning blast off Zack Wheeler was the Brewers' only run of the night. The 31-year-old still managed to be productive, however, notching his second stolen base of the season in a strong all-around performance. Since being activated off the 15-day injured list May 31, Hoskins has started three of four games for the Brewers, batting 4-for-10 with one home run and one steal. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:41 pm

    • Skubal strikes out six in no-decision Monday
Tarik Skubal allowed one run in six innings and got a no-decision in the Tigers’ 2-1 victory over the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Skubal gave up seven hits, walked two and struck out six. He managed to earn a quality start for the ninth time in 12 starts this season. Skubal allowed a leadoff home run to Marcus Semien, but that was the only run the Rangers could muster against him. His ERA is now 1.97 as he continues to push for the AL Cy Young award. The 27-year-old left-hander will face the Brewers at home this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:29 pm

    • Gausman allows six in loss to Orioles Monday
Kevin Gausman allowed six runs in 6 1/3 innings and took the loss against the Orioles on Monday.

Advice: Gausman gave up six hits, walked one and struck out three. He had thrown three quality starts in a row, but couldn’t keep the momentum going against the Orioles. Gausman had allowed five home runs in 11 previous starts, but gave up a home run to Anthony Santander and two home runs to Austin Hays. His ERA is now 4.60 on the season. The 33-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back against the Athletics on the road this weekend. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:41 pm

    • Rhys Hoskins blasts solo homer in return to Philly
Rhys Hoskins walloped a solo homer and also stole a base on Monday in the Brewers’ loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Hoskins walked and stole a base in the early stages of his first appearance back in Philadelphia since departing last offseason for Milwaukee before taking former teammate Zack Wheeler deep in the seventh inning for his 10th round-tripper of the season, breaking up a potential shutout in the process. The 31-year-old slugger missed a couple weeks last month with a hamstring strain, but hasn’t skipped a beat with four hits in 11 at-bats over three contests since returning. • Not starting Monday
Estrada (thumb) is out of the lineup for Monday's game against Arizona, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Advice: Estrada will miss a third consecutive game after jamming his thumb Friday against the Mets. Brett Wisely will start at second base Monday and bat in the leadoff spot against Diamondbacks right-hander Ryne Nelson. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:26 pm

    • Nolan Jones (back) starts rehab assignment
Nolan Jones (back, knee) began a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Advice: The dynamic 26-year-old outfielder went 0-for-2 with a walk and was hit by a pitch in the contest. He should only need a few games to get his timing back before becoming an option to rejoin the Rockies’ lineup. Prior to landing on the injured list, Jones had struggled to a .170/.243/.277 slash line through his first 26 games with only one home run, seven RBI and a pair of stolen bases.
