Suzuki's numbers don't always jump off the page with a .781 OPS, but he's a fairly consistent contributor who gets plenty of playing time, which allows him to make an impact in most fantasy formats.     Willson Contreras (forearm) progressed to throwing and catching on Thursday at Busch Stadium.

    Advice: Contreras is making rapid progress in his recovery from surgery to repair a fractured left forearm and there’s optimism that he’ll be ready to return earlier than originally anticipated. The 32-year-old backstop wasn’t expected back until sometime around the All-Star break, but it’s looking like he could return before the end of the month, barring any setbacks.     Rangers’ manager Bruce Bochy told reporters after Wednesday’s victory over the Tigers that the hamstring injury sustained by Corey Seager isn’t believed to be serious.

    Advice: Bochy noted that his removal from Wednesday’s contest was a precautionary measure and Seager won’t even go for an MRI exam. It’s possible that he’ll get a day off to rest to be on the safe side, but he shouldn’t be looking at any sort of extended absence.
