    • Three hits in Wednesday's win
Diaz went 3-for-4 with two RBI in Wednesday's 7-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: The 25-year-old backstop extended his hitting streak to seven games, a stretch in which he's batting .407 (11-for-27) with seven RBI. Diaz has yet to go yard since taking a foul tip off his finger and missing a few games earlier this month, but his current hot stretch has pushed his slash line on the season up to .271/.298/.415 with seven homers, 32 runs and 40 RBI in 69 contests. • Nolan Jones doubles, scores run in losing effort
Nolan Jones went 1-for-2 with a double on Wednesday in the Rockies’ loss to the Astros.

Advice: It’s been a tough season for Jones on the heels of last year’s unexpected breakthrough campaign, but he’s starting to show some signs of life recently, hitting .279 (12-for-43) with one homer and one steal over his last 15 games. The fact that he’s starting to hit for a little bit of power is an encouraging sign after injuries derailed the first few months of the season for him. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:59 pm

    • Yainer Diaz tallies three hits, two RBI in win
Yainer Diaz went 3-for-4 with a pair of RBI on Wednesday in the Astros’ win over the Rockies.

Advice: Diaz opened the scoring with a run-scoring single off Rockies starter Ryan Feltner in the fourth inning before tacking on another RBI single a couple frames later to give Houston a six-run advantage at the time. The 25-year-old backstop got off to a frosty start this season at the dish, but he’s rounded into form of late, batting .351 (20-for-57) with two homers and one steal over his past 15 games. • Absent from lineup versus righty
Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: The lefty-hitting Naylor took a seat in Tuesday's 10-8 win while southpaw Cade Povich was on the bump, but Naylor's absence Wednesday is more conspicuous against Baltimore right-hander Grayson Rodriguez. Naylor could be nursing an unspecified injury, but the Guardians have yet to provide any official confirmation on that front. Jhonkensy Noel was called up from Triple-A Columbus and will enter the lineup at first base Wednesday in place of Naylor. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:48 pm
    • Nabs fourth steal
McNeil went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's win over the Yankees.

Advice: It's the 32-year-old's first multi-hit performance since June 9, with McNeil batting a brutal .088 (3-for-34) in between. The career .291 hitter is slashing just .216/.281/.298 on the season, and his lengthy slump -- as well as a hot start to Jose Iglesias' Mets tenure -- has put McNeil's playing time in a bit of jeopardy. He may need to string together a few more solid efforts to avoid losing his hold on even a strong-side platoon role at second base. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:22 am

    • Remains out of lineup
Lowe (toe) remains out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Mariners, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Lowe will miss out on a fourth consecutive start as he deals with a fractured right pinky toe. The plan still seems to be for Lowe to attempt to play through the injury, and perhaps he'll be ready to do so Friday against the Nationals following the Rays' off day Thursday. • Picks up steal
Kwan went 1-for-5 with one RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Tuesday's 10-8 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Kwan has let his bat do the talking since he returned from a hamstring injury, going 33-for-75 (.440) over his last 19 contests. Predictably, he hasn't tried his luck much on the bases, going 1-for-2 in stolen base attempts in that span. He's now at a .385/.443/.563 slash line with seven home runs, 24 RBI, 48 runs scored and four steals over 51 contests, and it's safe to assume his speed will remain down given his history of hamstring issues. • Back in starting nine
Kepler (neck) will start in right field and bat cleanup in Tuesday's game in Arizona.

Advice: Kepler missed three starts while battling neck spasms, but he's ready to give it a go following Monday's team off day. The veteran outfielder comes into action Tuesday with just a .548 OPS in June, although he has homered twice in his previous five contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:02 pm

    • Max Kepler returns to lineup Tuesday vs. D-backs
Max Kepler (neck) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Kepler is back in right field and batting cleanup on Tuesday night out at Chase Field in Arizona following a three-game absence due to neck spasms. The 31-year-old corner outfielder holds a pedestrian .733 OPS with six homers and one steal in 207 plate appearances over 55 games this season. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:56 pm
